Recently I wrote a post trying to mend fences with turnerfeck and agreeing with Bayes on one point. It was deleted.
Out of common courtesy, couldn't the person who deletes a post at least say why they did it? There was noting offensive or off-topic in my post.
Frankly, I don't think that's too much to ask.

Sam!
Was it in MrJ BV thread? All post which is not the presentation has been deleted, and I think the reasons is explained in a post.

The fence is mended my friend (as far as I am concerned)
(just beware of the english sense of humour....based on 98% sarcasm)
never mean to offend intentionally
Agree! I'd much rather be friends with the world. At least you read this before the "Fast-Fingered Deleter" got to it!!
Ralph
I don't think so. But I'm on the road and people try to run over me all day, so I'm a little shook. Maybe it was. But I really don't think so. It was on MOP's last thread about GF. Almost sure!

By the way....now we are on speaking terms again...would you mind explaing a word you use....which is totally new to me...Bioviate? or similar
I did not understand the word Bioviate, but guessed it may have to do with cows, Sam is from Texas and must have many kinds of words and meanings from cattle.
QuoteBioviate
I think Sam is meening he exagerates blows hot air expands exponentialy puffs up the wow factor adding too much fluff, I may be worng of course

I think you are reffering to the JL BV thread, yes the answer is in my posts, I am keeping it clean so all we have there are the results, I leave any questions for a day or so so any responses can be read but then I delete the chaff so we keep the wheat

Your are right in your definition of "bloviate".
It was not your thread. I saw the warning "tough titties" and decided to refrain!
I'm sure it was on MOP's thread because I answered Bayes' question about the falling tree.
What really torques me jaws is you missed my brilliant expose of the light bulb debacle.

Only between swims. ;D
An amp meter is a device one attaches across (around a wire, actually) a circuit to see if that circuit is drawing current. If it is, something ( a bulb) is causing this. Thus, we can--with the door nailed shut--attach said device and determine the on-ness or off-ness of the light!
That is the accepted method. The red neck method is to shoot a hole in the fridge and see if light comes out. Customers hate this method.

Sam bro, you worry too much about minor details. Just get on with making some money!

Sam...lol....this is the point. It is off when you meter it. The current drops. Its off when you look through the hole....but is it off when you disconect the meter and dont look through the hole.
We know its off when we make a phisical observation. We assume (we dont know) its off when we are in bed or 20miles away at work.
Its a thought experiment to distinguish between knowing and assuming
