This is an Even Chance bet system.
We have 2 charts in this progression.
A winning chart and a losing chart.
We start with the 1st bet in the winning chart and just "go to" based on whether we win or lose.
Winning Chart
Stage Bet Amt If win go to If lose go to
W1 1 W2 L1
W2 2 W3 L1
W3 3 W4 W1
W4 2 W3 W1
W5 50% W1 W1
Losing Chart
L1 1 W1 L2
L2 2 W1 L3
L3 4 W1 L4
L4 8 W1 W5
The 50% bet is a recovery bet of 50% of the total amount we are down at the time. Round this number up if not an even number.
Example: If we are down 9 units, 9 X .5 = 4.5 rounded up to 5 units.
If we are down 12 X .5 = 6 units.
Please note that this recovery bet, though it can be a fairly large number, only happens after we have lost 5 bets in a row. We don't attempt it again until we have lost another 5 bets in a row. In the mean time, we will recover some of our losses with wins in our Zone before having to make a 50% recovery bet. With enough luck, we may even recover all our losses from Zone bets.
I suggest that you reset everything any time you reach a new profit, but it's not necessary. You can just keep playing until you reach your Win Target. Resetting should keep your bet sizes minimized, but sometimes it means it will take longer to reach your win target.
Win Target = 15 units. (Or 8 per Skakus)
Stop Loss = 60 units. (Or -108 per Skakus)
I said that this was an even chance bet method and that's true but you can adapt it to all the bet locations on the board.
To play double dozens, all we have to do is win 2 times before we "go to". The 1 loss is still valid before we "go to".
To play 5 lines, we have to win 5 times before we "go to" and one loss triggers a "go to".
To play single dozens, we win once and then "go to" but we have to lose 2 times before we "go to".
To play a line we win once and then "go to" but we have to lose 5 times before we "go to".
Ect...
Option: The 50% figure can be adjusted either up or down to suit your playing style.
Once you analyze this system, you will notice that we use a modified positive progression when we're winning and we play a capped marty when we're losing.
Most of our playing time will be in the W1-W4 and L1-L4 Zones. This should represent about 90-95% of our bets. We only play the capped marty to recover a single unit loss from W1 or W2.
The % recovery bet is incorporated to recover after a capped marty loss. This also prevents us from being bogged down in the hole for long periods of time.

I've been checking this out and it works great on even chances and double dozens, but it's not the greatest on the other bets. Not bad, just not as good as e.c.'s and dbl dozens.
I for sure wouldn't use 50% on anypayoff greater than 1:1. If you're playing single dozens or above, I'd drop the % to 25 or even less for Lines, Streets, etc...
I do like it for playing double dozens, 5 lines, 11 streets, etc... You have to make sure you have enough bank, but if you do it seems to always come back from even the worst spins.
I think that although this progression can be more interesting to the EC, if I am playing properly, I do not see it for double dozens, as in the case of reset when we are in profit, we would disregard the steps W2, W3 and W4 and the rest of the cases have moments where progression advance very slowly or not advance for a long time.
I prefer more dynamic progressions for double dozen.
Anyway, we could discuss this with a practical example.
Thanks GLC.

If we decide to reset after new profit, we only go to W2, W3, W4 when we have lost a % bet and we're in the hole. Then when we play W1 and win we're not at a new profit and we play the other W's.
If it's too slow, you can always tweak the bet sizes to make it more zippy.
Or, it may not be your cup of tea.
I'm not sure it's mine either, just put it out there as an option.
It could be just what someone is looking for.

If we have six losses in a row right of the start we are down almost 24 units at that point you suggesting to go back to W1 again?

Yes. I know it sounds like a huge step back, but if you have a good win streak, you will recover a lot of units winning the W1 thru W4 bets.
Try some tweaks and see if you can make it fit your playing style better.
In my testings, I have rarely lost 6 bets 2 times in a row. That means we could increase our % by 10 % each time we cycle through a bad losing streak.
Here's a tweak you might find more to your playing style:

If you are playing L5-L8 and reach a new profit, reset to W1.
Any time you lose at L4 and recover back to even with L5-L8, end attack. Take a break.
This eliminates the % recovery bets.
We need a 50 unit buy-in to play.

George: This MM is a true Beauty.

It was about 50 lbs ago and I don't think I was shaving very often then. :ooh:

Actually, I was only a couple of years away from starting 10 wasted years of my life. What I wouldn't do to have those years back. But, maybe I wouldn't be where I am today if not for those years. Looking on the bright side, I learned a lot of things not to do during those years. ???

Dear Catalyst,
Since you asked this very unexpected question, I feel obligated to tell you about the most important milestone of my last 50 years.
Firstly, you must know that I grew up in an orphanage. It wasn't a bad place, but it was very, very strict. We were totally regimented. Every hour of our day was regulated. When we went to bed, when we got up in the morning, chores, when we ate, how long we had to eat, etc... We never had what you'd call "free time". As I look back it wasn't that bad, but at the time I hated it. There were always about 75 kids in the Home during the 12 years I lived there. It has since been closed down, succumbing to the Foster Care program.
After graduating from High School, I immediately fell in with a bad crowd. I became addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex, etc... After a few years, my life was going nowhere. I tried to give up my addictions many times over the next few years, but to no avail. I finally reached a point after about 10 years where I was desparate. It was at just the right time that I heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I had always made fun of Christianity but at just that time, I believed that it was the truth and I confessed my despicable life and asked God to save me from myself.
Well, I was delivered from all my addictions on the spot, supernaturally. I had no desire for any of that stuff any more. I know what it's like to scream out in agony when you've tried to resist and can't and know you're only minutes away from defeat; minutes away from going back to the slop trough. When I say I was delivered, believe me I know the difference between struggling to stop and being supernaturally delivered. I was delivered by a power much higher than myself.
Guess what? I actually became a productive member of society. Started working hard, graduated from college. Got married. We couldn't have kids, so we adopted Grace, our daughter who has special needs. A lot of you prayed for her a year and a half ago when she underwent her second open heart surgery. For those prayers I am especially grateful. I've even had the privilege of praying for some of you who have revealed that you were or are going through some difficult times.
That was the most important event in my life. Bar none. How could anything be more important?
I'm sure I've lost most of you who are reading this by now, but if any of you still are, I will tell you that I'm not prone to flights of fantasy. I'm one of the most sane people I know. What happened to me can happen to you also.
Check it out. It'll be the most important thing you'll ever do.
Catalyst, any more questions?
GLC
George: I was deeply moved by your story. Having a special needs child in my family I understand how it goes.
God Bless you my man and God Bless "Grace" also.

Still playing this George? The progression looks great.
I remember your bet selection on Even chances:
Follow the last until two consecutive losess.
Then switch to play the opposite until one loss.
From what I remember, played this bet selection one year ago with progression +1 on a loss until in a win. Restart from 1.
Needed a huge bankroll but it wins most of the times  (Normally  )
Haven't played roulette for a while on a consistent basis, just reading this forum from time to time. Busy with my job.
Just posting sometimes, when there's something that looks good. This is the case for your progression.
Jointu, the progression's fine. I still haven't fallen solidly on the side of ending betting after 2 losses until a win. Maybe 3 or even 4. Two losses comes around too often for my playing style.
I'm like you. Too busy to get much playing time since I have to go to a casino and we only have 1 in the area with an airball machine. No live dealers here.
I know that this has been dormant for quite a while but I want to post a little different progression that makes it less aggressive.

A total loss is 42 units. That's my recommended buy-in. I suggest that you have a back-up bank of 42 units in case you get really unlucky and lose right away.
Win target is 10 units.
Bet the smallest units you can. Every time you win 100 units, double your unit size. If you lose 84 units, half your unit size. See if you can become a millionaire.

The following is a correction to the above post.
