In honor of Chrisbis I present a logical betting scheme that his engineering background should be able to appreciate.
The attached diagram is what I call "The even chance finite betting universe".
It is a product of my recent betting idea of pressing the size of our bets whether we're losing or winning.
We always start with the center 1.
From there we following the arrows depending on whether we have a win or a loss.
Winning side (right side)
If we win our first bet, we move to the right and bet 1 unit again.
Another win and we move to our right again and bet the 1st 2 unit bet.
If we lose while betting the 2nd 1, 1st 2 or middle 2 unit bets, we drop back to the middle 1.
If we lose while betting the 2nd 2, 1st 3 or 2nd 3, we drop back to the middle 2.
If we win while betting the 2nd 3, we drop back to the middle 2.
The losing side is a mirror image of the winning side.
Set your own win target and stop-loss.
You could end a session when you either win while betting the 2nd 3 on the winning side or lose while betting the 2nd 3 on the losing side. This moving from a win on the 2nd 3 on the winning side to the middle 2 and continuing is a optional move. Same for losing on the 2nd 3 on the losing side. Both options have their pros and cons.
Though not shown in the diagram, you could continue to bet the 2nd 3 on the winning side as long as you're winning.
Ditto for losing on the 2nd 3 on the losing side. This would make the losing side mimic the leveller idea.
Play around with the method as see if it suits your playing style.

thanks George.................. looks as bonkers as ever!.......so i should at least try it out eh. :girl_to:
(I feel a drawing coming on!)
george...that material the diagram is lay on looks like the same material they use in straight jackets.
result of spin is WLLWLLLWLWLWWWLLLWWLWWLWW
I use your finite universe. it gives me 0 units right? I calculate correct or incorrect.
1 -1 -2 2 -1 -1 -2 2 -1 1 -1 1 2 2 -2 -2 -1 1 2 -2 1 1 -2 1 1 = 0 unit
the three wins in a row (in the middle of your Win/Loss analysis), doesn't seem to show in ur results/units!
just check ur calcs again Donjuan
.
cheers chris

thanks chris i recheck my results.
It is 1 -1 -1c 1 -2 -1c -1 2 -1c 1 -2 1c 1 2 -2 -1c -1 2 1c -1 2 1c -1 2 1 = +3 units
c is center of this system.
I don't know it is correct. please tell me.
Please explain finite bet with my results. LWLLLLLWLWLWLWWWWLLWLLWLWLLLWWWLW my progression is -3.5 units with this results
I confuse finite betting system, so if i don't understand finite really. I think i will get many problems.
Is there any version for double dozens/columns?
I haven't really looked at adapting it to the other bets. Of course it can be done since all bets are interrelated.
For double dozens, it would probably look something like this:
5 4 3 2 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Start at betting 1 on both dozens. As long as you win, keep moving 1 step to the right. If you lose at 2, 3, 4 or 5, jump down to 1. If you lose at 6, 7, 8 or 9 jump back to 5. If you win while betting 9-9, jump back to 5.
If you lose while betting 1-1, move 1 step to the left. If you're on the left side of 1-1 move 1 step to the right on a win.
If you lose while betting 5-5 on the losing side, move back to 3-3.
Any time you reach a new high bank, reset to 1-1.
This is just an untested suggestion. Please test it to see if it's effective.
Let us know what you think.
If you tweak it and make it work better, please share the tweak with us.
