Made you open it (lol). Anyways, as soon as the numbers from hell happen at the CASINO, its time to re-think things.
I play quite a few hot number methods (Catch the 7 Train etc) and most of them rely on starting to bet after the SECOND hit. On Friday, I had *14* numbers with two hits, NO third hit. I lost a ton.
So, what to do when you get around 5 double hits without a third? I HAVE NO IDEA.

Uhm keep the br low. And restart ?
Also I would never play 14 nrs. Max 5 would be enough. If those don't hit it's probably not your day. And any system lose once in a while :)
Mare said it...if to many nrs come...wait till another hit...and resume...don't follow the rfh...
I know..easier said than done
Should have played the splits of some of your noted double hitters.
Maybe in a Furthest/Nearest format.
Did you save the spin numbers so you can look back at whether it could have worked for you Ken?

I only bet 3-4 of them, just noting there were 14. The thing about "restarting", you are restarting again with the NEXT sets of double hits, it'll be the same number of units lost in the end. Playing....Catch the 7 Train for example, lose lose lose lose, there would be zero hits. I usually try to "fix the problem" with a decent method but this issue is unique, not sure what to do?

Bang the table and go get a double scotch ;)
All is up to the hit rate though. If it wins most sessions then use a good MM. The most important thing is your up at the end of the week/month. Cut loss on time.

I tossed that notebook in the trash, too damn upset to even look at it again. As far as splits, I see no difference? The splits of the 2 hitters did not hit either, same results. I'm currently working on a method that involves the FIRST hit of a number, then a second hit. At least that way, I cant say there are no FIRST hits on a number. (lol).
Point being, who says there will be a third hit soon? Nobody.

I agree but......my biggest issue, I want to win everyday. I get too picky.
15 winning days vs. 1 losing day, not good enough. It feels like failing for some reason.
Ken
15 vs 1 ..... your doing just fine ;)
If all this is flat ..... your a champ
That was an example. I'm more around 9 to 1.
Still, not good enough for me. My goal? (dont laugh).....25 to 1 is a champion.

This is happened to me on more than one occasion. What I do is play until the doubles become triples and play up to 18 doubles becoming triples. Once I get the 18 doubles hitting then I play 11122345 as a parlay bet. While it causes crazy anxiety, it's not failed yet. That's not to say it won't. And yes, while it appears you lose a ton and there's a ton more to bet, when it comes back around you'll be back in profit. This has rarely happened, however, it's good to know what the next bet is and what the plan is to get out of it. Having the proper bankroll is a must as well as having the ability to stay with your plan. I've been down over 3000 units and it's taken hours and hours to recoup. And yes, it can be exhausting.
@Ken.
Fully agree that the 'third' isn't always bound to happen. ......only the bloke upstairs knows that. ;)
Shame you tossed that notepad.
Splits are good for recovery, and "near wheel number' are best.
Maybe the dealer was practicing different strength spin throws!
