Title: Sleepers vs. Repeaters (Hot vs. Cold)
Post by: falkor2k15 on Jan 25, 12:29 PM 2017
It seems that most systems bet on repeats? Some bet on just a few numbers, i.e. cold sleepers. But no system seems to incorporate both? Priyanka said all bets are random unless betting for a repeat = Non-Random. But perhaps we just need to bet for events that are not based simply on 1 spin, but multiple spins. Without digressing too much I think we can form valid events for the very next spin using simultaneous repeats, but back on topic: I found that when all sleepers have shown for a given section we have an event in the opposite style of a repeat, where the stats also hold true:
H... L still sleeping
HH... L still sleeping
HLL... no more sleepers

The opposite to that event would not simply be a sleeper showing in 1 spin, but the EC section could give up all sleepers in 2+ spins as an event. This has no limit, but the repeat has to happen within 3 spins. To get a repeat we need 2 appearances of the same EC, so it cannot happen over 1 spin either. However, due to the limit they are not equal:
EC with no more sleepers = average spin 3.0
EC @ 2 repeats = average spin 2.57

I still believe there must be a way to pit hot vs. cold in an fair and square showdown to determine which one is performing better than the other and to have a choice on which to bet - all incorporated into the same system.

One way might be to measure how many repeaters and sleepers appear on average for a given section @ a certain spin number. If the stats appear identical then we would have identified their true opposite forms, if they really are 2 sides of the same coin (or not?)

Why you just don't reread all "Random thoughts" topic?
