Notepad IDEA for mechanical bet selection. Maybe nothing new but anyhow seeming to perform quite well...
Each spin play LOW (1-18) and LINE (19-24)
The line bet is always HALF the amount of the low bet.
Start with 1u on LOW + 0.5u on LINE.
If LOSE A SPIN then increase LOW by 1u and LINE by 0.5
If WIN A SPIN and level or ahead then decrease to starting level (1u on LOW + 0.5u on LINE)
If WIN A SPIN and not level or ahead continue at SAME LEVEL.
*If lose 3 times in succession (3 CONSECUTIVE losses, that is) then STOP and wait for VIRTUAL win; then restart betting at next level (+1 on LOW ; +0.5 on LINE)*

Since one unit on EU table is 5 chips,therefore its impossible
to play it half on the line.
I thought the ideal staking bet would be
6 chips on low,wins=4
2 chips on line,wins=4
With same progression when lose.

I'm struggling to stop betting after the 3rd dozen has hit 3 times in a row. In your example, every time you didn't bet, you would have won. Seems like after 3 in a row, you would want to bet because 4 in a row is even less likely. Or am I getting too deep into gambler's fallacy?

OK. Maybe we can use the EXACT SAME betting strategy and progression rules as at the top of this thread but play according to WABO system trending rules?

In other words play the EC that is trending along with the relevant line also.
So if LOW is trending bet as before LOW and LINE (19-24) but when HIGH takes over then we switch to HIGH and LINE (13-18)
The only extra work involved is to keep an updated high/low count so that we can track the the leading side to be bet...
e.g.: At the start we look at the last 10 numbers and say we count for example 6 low numbers and 4 high numbers - so we start off betting LOW and LINE (19-24) ...
Later on we find we have recorded LOW=15 and HIGH=16; since high is now LEADING it is time to switch to HIGH and LINE (13-18)

Just did a quick test on Betvoyager, single zero demo wheel.
Got up 14 units and then lost 100 units.
Tested the same sequence with just betting 1 & 2 dozens and won 7.5 units then lost 50.
These are the numbers. See if you get similar results.

The problem was that i was getting too many hits on the e.c. and not any toward the end on the 6 number street.
Sorry, my testing time is very limited.
We know that evey system has a losing sequence. It's usually good to see one early.

Confirmed these numbers are not favourable to this strategy combined with the switching trigger a la WABO...
However, I ran them using the original way I described at the beginning of the thread and it did better - but still a losing session overall.
-50.5 in 100 spins.
highest bet = 16.5 (11 LOW and 5.5 LINE)
max drawdown = 72.5
I think I prefer my original idea without switching - but there may not be much mileage left in this now the dreaded loss has reared its ugly head :)
