Post by: TicTacToe on Feb 05, 08:53 PM 2025
Has anyone been able to get AI to code RX scripts ?

AI can't code properly.

I know, I've been trying to get it to do RX scripts, but with horrible results. It doesn't realize that RX is its own language. Very painful process.

You have to first provide the Ai with the RX documentation before asking it to create the script.

Sure, but even then ..

I've supplied it with the RX Doc....I've given it a very intense script with many examples to look at. I've also told it to forget every other language it knows, and yet it still incorporates C++, Fortran and every other language in the scripts. So AI does have its limits.

I don't understand why you want to use RX when you can build your project with a higher level language.

The online chat-based ones, simply forget about it, it has either/& trouble with getting even the basic things exactly requiring multiple attempts .. even then, once the code real-estate gets a bit bigger it simply starts to leave sections out.

There are a few api-based ones specifically trained for coding that I haven't tried, but since the it ain't trained on rx-code ..

Perhaps, if you are really determined on that, train your own model with all rx-code examples you can get including suppying it with the original manual .. & you might get somewhere.

You can train a free instance here

I'm a post a video in a new thread.  I recommend using the new ai from Elon 'Grok'.

On my part I gave him the RX language and he couldn't do it. I put in a code that ran well so he could make the modifications I wanted and it didn't work.

Although I'm not a Musk fan, give GROK a try, does a better job. You still have to put in some effort though.

Grok will have you chasing ghosts.

Main:
* Bets: 10,000.
* Wins: 1,622.
* PL: -1,890 units.
Sub (Parallel):
* Bets: 10,000.
* Wins: ~4,200 (18/37 * 10,000 * ~0.86, enhanced by parallel).
* PL: 4,200 * 5 - 10,000 = +11,000 units.
Total: +9,110 units (~0.91 units/spin).

I agree, it takes a while to get him to make sure everything is correct.  I was first working with 10-30 spins so I can go over everything and see if there's mistakes.

I found grok to be much better then other ai and easier to talk to.

But yes you need a lot of patience
