Title: I had to think about this, lol (sad)
Post by: MrJ on Jun 17, 06:33 PM 2010
I was playing yesterday, I started talking to this guy next to me. Lets say I have three chips, dollar chips. I put $1 on the 19/22 split, $1 on the 20/23 split and $1 on the 21/24 split. Is there a difference if I put all three dollars on that double street instead? This is what the guy says >>> If the DS hits, I get $15 and still have *THREE* chips. Ok, lets say a split hits. 17 minus the other two chips and I have the same $15 BUT I have one chip, not 3. WTF? lol This is what I deal with. Ken

Hey Ken,

Where I play, a lot of people think roulette is just another type of slot machine but instead of reels spinning you put your bet on a certain payoff and if it hits, bingo.  Now that I think about it, maybe it is a funny looking slot machine.

You need to start a class at your casino on the basics of roulette and how to figure the payoffs on each type of bet.

Of course, at the level you bet you'd have to charge about $1000 an hour to make it worth while.  lol   Just joshin' ya.

Cheers,  George
