Title: Puzzle
Post by: GLC on Jun 01, 10:57 PM 2011
Here's a puzzle I wrote down quite a while ago.  It's under the topic of seeking the Holy Grail.  I think someone stated that they had found it and these were the clues and if anyone could solve the puzzle they would be a millionaire.

1.  It's a 4 bet combination.

2.  Not all even chance bets, but all outside bets.

3.  None are street bets.

4.  There's at least 1 column bet.

5.  There are 16 winners that pay 2 units.

6.  There are 16 losers that lose 1 unit.

7.  There are 4 losers that lose 4 units.

8.  Since there are more losers than winners, predict when the losers are coming.

That's it!! ???

My 1st observation is that there are only 36 locations which must mean that there's no bet on the zero.  That's a 36 unit loser that he doesn't find important to mention.

This may just be a joke, but on the other hand it may be worth a few minutes of your time to muse over.  If someone figures it out, please PM the rest of us privately.  We wouldn't want the casinos to know.

I've figured it out, but to me it doesn't look like H. G. , it's like all other systems.    Nothing special as I would say.    Tracking dozens and columns and then betting.

betting on 2 doz. and 2 col. meets the requirements. the important question is: how do we tame the 4 losers?

3 hits in 1 dozen and 2 of 3 hits in 1 column and we bet the opposite.

Hi GLC,

isn't this the win3million thing? If I'm not mistaken, there is a little more to it: you want to utilize the streaks and chops.

If we lose on 16 bets,  then add 1 unit to all bets.  If lose on 4 bets, then it's diferent  :(

I typed won{2+1}mil and it was converted to w3m scam.

I believe that this is some kind of (automated) censuring, hmmm makes me think

Heh, i'm today unlucky... first spins and as i said 3 in dozen and 2 in one column and bet, well i got -1 and later then -4... but anyway i think it's a good system, cause after this to recover i must bet only 3 units on each.

I don't know where I got it.  It was in my notebook from about 18 months ago.  Read it somewhere on one of the forums I suppose.

It was listed right after a system by Zeus.  "Play 1 or all 3 e.c.s flatbetting the penultimate.  Stop at +3 or -6."

I think he was intimating that this is as close to the Holy Grail as you can come.  I have to admit, it's not a bad way to play.  Hard to lose the house betting this way.
