One has to observe distribution of events and its patterns (i know it will rain down on me).
Progressions (doesn't matter what kind) will only attempt to help us achieve profit quicker (or sink).
In principle there is no need for aggressive approaches,
as one does not have to win every step of a progression to end up in profit. :o
On the other hand it would be naive to affirm they are merely instruments of impatience. By observing the LW registry, one can identify were and when to get in/out.
Any pattern observed is imbalanced by its nature. Many mechanical systems on this forum try to take advantage from this. It is hard for a pattern to repeat it self endlessly over time. We all know these systems based on exploiting the non repetition (which would become the same if they exploited repetition) by the use of matrices and other mechanisms.
Having said that, lets explore the Random nature of the bet selection...
