Title: testing with random.org
Post by: hanshuckebein on Feb 29, 01:01 PM 2012
hi guys,

if I let random.org do the bet selection  and then let it play against actual spins, would it make a difference if I use 30 different test-sessions of 100 spins each or use just one session of 100 spins and use the same sessions 30 times (of course each with fresh random.org selections)?

I hope someone can help me with that.  :)

thanks and cheers

hans

The bigger the sample is, the more accurate is the simulation. The game always tend to balance with subtile changes. There's a thing called the variation and the equart.

Basically, if your sample is too small, you will get a "biased" result, because Roulette doesn't repeat the same 30 numbers over and over. It's more random than that.

Immagine your 30 spins sample have an unequal win/lost ratio. If it's only of ONE unit, re-using it 100 times would give you +-100 units wrong in your results.
