Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

Here is a somewhat fun system to keep you entertained for a while. A tracker or maybe a bot would be nice to play this, but it can be done manually.
I made this for sequences of 4 in E.C.'s , but it can be done for any sequence length that you like. Track spins and observe for this patterns:

LLLL
LLLH
LLHL
LLHH
LHLL
LHLH
LHHL
LHHH
HLLL
HLLH
HLHL
HLHH
HHLL
HHLH
HHHL
HHHH

We will be tracking until only one of this patterns is missing to appear and the other 15 have come out. That is the pattern we will be betting. How? With a positive progression inside a negative progression. I'll explain with an example:

Let's assume all patterns have come up except HHHH. We now bet for HHHH to appear. And we will have a total of 53 attempts to hit it.
First bet 1 unit on H. If win, double up, 2 units on H, if win, double up, 4 units on H, if win double up, 8 units on H. If win on the 4th bet, we end attack with 16 units and retrack.
If lose in any of the bets, try again for exactly 16 times or until a win. If no win after 16 attacks, we will increase the first bet.
Now, 2 units on H. If win, double up, 4 units on H, if win, double up, 8 units on H, if win double up, 16 units on H. If win on the 4th bet, we end attack and retrack.
If lose in any of the bets, try again for exactly 8 times or until a win. If no win after 8 attacks, we will increase the first bet.
....

This is the progression on the first bet:

Initial Bet    //   Number of attacks
1   16
2   8
3   5
4   4
5   3
6   3
7   2
8   2
9   2
10   1
11   2
12   1
13   1
14   1
15   1
16   1

With this progression, 4 consecutive wins at any level put's us even or at a new high and we reset. It's a total of 53 attacks for a 246 bankroll (it means your maximum loss playing this will be 246, if you lose at the first time playing it and play it to the end).
An even safer variation of this is to reset immediately anytime you are at a new high balance. This can happen with less consecutive wins (just 1,2 or 3 instead of 4 wins) , depending on where you are in the progression. Profits will also decrease taking this approach.

Its possible. I havent followed all of that john legend story so Im not sure... what progression did he used, if any?

You should explain more clearly how you will catch repeats.
I made a system that catch all repeating patterns using 8 combinations or patterns of three.

Is that your method?
Denial of gamblers fallacy is usually seen in people who has Roulette as last option for a way to wealth, debt covering and a independent lifestyle.  Next step is pretty ugly-
AP - It's not that it can't be done, but rather people don't really have a clue as to the level of fanaticism and outright obsession that it takes to be successful, let alone get to the level where you can take money out of the casinos on a regular basis. Out of 1,000 people that earnestly try, maybe only one will make it.

Sam concept except he used three outcomes instead of four outcomes.

Standard progression:  1,2,4 (restart system w/tracking) 8,16,32 (stop)

Does it work?  Will it go 'round in circles?  Will it fly high like a bird up in the sky?

Did you/will you share with the unwashed masses?

Hi. Thanks for your comment. I will explain as much as I can, but... the method I described is not about "catching repeaters" at all, so I'm not sure I understand your query... Anyway, I'll try to explain this in other words. The premisse I'm using for this method is that all possible patterns of 4 spins  will eventually appear within a reasonable length of spins, to keep random as random as possible. There are in total 16 possible patterns for a 4 series of spins (ignoring zero), and we start betting the remaining pattern wich has not hit since we start recording, once the remaining 15 patterns have hit. We have a progression that will allow for 53 attacks (we are betting a positive progression of 4 steps with each attack, so each attack can spawn between 1 to 4 bets , depending on what spin we lose).

The details of the progression are in the first post. I hope it's clearer, but if any questions let me know and I'll do what I can to explain better.
