pattern match

just question,is there any software to look for mathing patterns,say software has option to load your data such as span sequnce and then by input a numbers to look for exat match of preloaded data..example you have text files with sequence of numbers and files are labeled as sequence 1,2 and so on....then you load them into the program and by input numbers look for match....when match found gives alert as match found in sequene say 5....thanks

Not that I know of as the database would have to be quite large, I have done this in the past but it doesn't work IF you have say

1,12,2,33,11 as your pattern

so you want to know what comes next? is that what you are after, trust me buddy I have done this before, I even looked for 2 or 3 matches to the pattern and checked all 2 or 3 next numbers, they were not the same, I also tried it for colours, columns dozens etc, it still has the same odds as any other bet.

If thats not your intention, then what are you after?

yes that is what i meant but not only one pattern say 100 of them ..and i do not wanna know what hits next just to find match pattern ..thanks

thanks for the link i saw the program but what does it do..need more details
