A Tales of 2 sitters

I was quite taken aback by what I saw last night at G casino.
I took my son who likes BJ, so he went off to the BJ table and I did my usual scout around to look at the 3 marques. Just looking for some repeaters...or even better, a marquee of 17 without many repeaters...1 or 2.

I sat next to an asian guy..mid 30s. he was wearing jeans, short coat and a beany hat.
He looked relaxed...had a swagger.
I noticed he had a tray of chocolates...the type you get in a resteraunt with your bill...round, flat, in coloured tinfoil.
Then I noticed they wernt chocolates. They were chips.
3 rows of £100 chips, 30 in each row....9k!
3 rows of £25 chips....some missing...2k
11k sat in a plastic channeled tray.
I had £40. I changed 20 into 50 pence chips
He was playing double dozens. Not sure how, but he was placing double dozen bets. £200 on each Dozen. This bet lost...he played another 2 dozens, but not 600 on each. its £500 limit.
Just £200 x 2 again. That lost. He then lost £400 on black. he walked off with his tray to another table.
An hour later he came back. Tray depleted.  looked like 1 row of £100 chips, and 3 rows of £25 chips. he put £200 on zero. lost....again, lost, again...lost.
I stopped what I was doing. i was even...had gone down and back up. I had a feeling, so I put 4 chips on 0-3 split. Zero hit!!!
I got £36. He got £7000. He picked up his phone and was bragging to someone. He didn't pick up the phone when he lost £1200 on DD.
I can't stop thinking about it. No progression. No logic...no rhyme or reason and he's £1000 up.
Insane.
