Hmmm...we always leave the radio on for the dog when we go out (yes theres a dog as well)
when we came in tonight, the record on the radio was "Theres a Ghost in my house" by R.dean Taylor.
its easy for me to of made that up...but thats absolutly true.

I heard by my own ears ghost stories of people which saw them.
but those ghosts are always harmless.
In Niagara area around Lundy Lane cemetery, where was a battle during 1812 war, they frequently see soldiers in the red uniforms. But mind u those soldiers never did any harm to anyone. All the do is just  march in formations.
