The only way to beat roulette is by increasing accuracy of predictions (changing the odds). This is possible on many real wheels.

OK need testing this one. My first post in notepad  ;)

Bet 1 doublestreet in the middle of each dozen. That's the standard bet. Been thinking of tracking spins and betting on the 3 hottest doublestreets, that's another option.

+1 for each loss on all bets, until 3 hits in a row, then reset. From a short test it seemed good. Only risk if progression goes too far, but 3 hits should give you a positive bankroll. (if not progression have gone too far, then you have to stay on that level/continue progression until restored, that could be the tricky part) It isn't tested enough, and someone like to try it I would be grateful  :)

I've always liked you Ig, I said that right at the start. You did infuriate me at times though!  :o
But you seem to be listening and learning now so well done and thank you  :)

As for this bet. I tried the exact same thing myself in the beginning with no luck. I really believe a static bet will not succeed in the long run. All it takes is for a few of your numbers to sleep for a while and you've had it. Your idea of going for hot lines is better.

So keep on trying and good luck to you.

Something I've learned from years of study:

1.  If you sit still on a certain bet or group of bets, Roughy is right!  Random will cause the numbers you are not on to kill your system.

2.  If you randomly jump for place to place, random will eventually begin jumping just the same way.

Let me give you an example of a system I read of called "The Pendulum"  You bet dozen 1 2 and then 2 3 and just keep doing that.  To loose, random must alternate the first and third dozen at exactly the right time while always missing the second dozen.  Sounds impossible!  Hear me now and believe me later--random will beat this system.

Random will beat random.

The only thing that is certain in roulette is the flow of occurrences or the lack thereof.  The concentration and dispersion of events, if you will.

I once wrote, "Numbers do strange things.  If they didn't, they'd do even stranger things".  Imagine a wheel that does nothing but RBRBRB and on to infinity.  Way too strange!!  So if a wheel hits ten reds in a row, that's strange, but not like the aforementioned RBRBRB to infinity.

There are two guys on this forum who speak of this constantly.  They're both over-the-top rude and disrespectful, but they're right.  When a person has tried everything else, they either quit or come to some conclusions about random.

As I see it there are three states of occurrences:

1.  Probability
2.  Possibility
3.  Deterministic

As Ralph says, nothing is due.  It's not like gravity so throw out number 3.  Some things are within the realm of the possible, but highly unlikely.  So we're back to the old probability conundrum.

If the wind is blowing your boat back onto the rocks, head for port.  Wait until the wind is blowing you out to sea.

Easier said than done, but it's really the only way.

(Brilliant people may now come forth correct me where necessary.)
