Excell question

Hy all

ok, this is for the excell masters among us

is it possible to have something like this:
to input values in one column and have them rearanged in x amount of colums?
ie,
we input values in column A (numbers, letters, whatever)
and then we choose the amount of rows for our matrix (i don't want to use the word matrix but can't think of nothing else)
and then excell rearanges it all for us from let's say column D onward
example
we input in column A
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
10
R
B
H
L
and we set let's say 4 rows
excell gives us
1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
9 10 R B
H L
each value in its own cell so we can do with it what we like

Is such a thing possible in excell?
can someone do a sheet for me or give me the formula and I'll try myself?

I think this would speed up a lot of testing for those who use matrix systems
I need it for something else, also testing purposes
