Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

Forgive me if I've already posted this or a similar progression idea.  I don't have time to go through all my posts to make sure I don't post duplicate ideas.

This is a simple progression method for even chances that works a little better than a simple D'Alembert.

Bet in 5 decision sets. (5 decision set's isn't set in stone.  It could be 3 or 7 or 10 or whatever size set you like.)

WWWWW = +5
WWWWL =  +3
WWWLL = +1
WWLLL = -1
WLLLL = -3
LLLLL = -5

Start by betting 1 unit.  As long as you win, the 5 decision set hasn't started.  As soon as you lose a bet, we start our 5 decision sets and we must complete a set unless we reach a new high bank.  Any time we reach a new high bank, we return to betting 1 unit.

If we end a set at -1, we add 1 unit to the bet size for the next 5 decision set.
If we end a set at -3, we add 2 units to the bet size for the next 5 decision set.
If we end at -5, we add 3 units.
If we end at +1 and we're not at a new high bank, we subtract 1 unit from our bed.
If we end at +3, subtract 2 units.
If we end at +5, subtract 3 units.

The following suggestions are for more aggressive play.
If we are more than 75 units in the hole, we increase our bet size changes from 1 or 2 or 3 to 1 or 3 or 5.
If we are more than 150 units in the hole, we increase our bet size changes from 1 or 3 or 5 to 2 or 5 or 7.

These are not the sizes of our bets, they are the number of units we increase our current bet size by.  If we are betting 6 unit bets and we end a 5 decision set at -3 units, we would increase that 6 unit bet size by 2 units to 8 units, assuming we are under 75 units in the hole.

Remember, the deeper in the hole we go, the longer we have to play if we try to dig out betting the same method that got us in.

We must either set a small stop-loss or be prepared to bet larger bets to recover.

The only reason we need a progression is to recover quickly after an infrequent deviation from the standard.  If we knew we were going to stay within say 1 standard deviation, a mild progression would be adequate.  Since we know we will eventually have deviations of much greater ratios, we must be prepared to stay in the hole a long time and hope we don't hit another really bad deviation before we get out of the hole,  or increase the size of our bets so a reasonable stretch of wins vs losses will recover a lot of losses and pull us out post haste.

In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Double Dozens:

WWWWW = +5  Decrease bet by -2
WWWWL = +2   Decrease bet by -1
WWWLL = -1     Leave bet same
WWLLL = -4      Increase bet by +1
WLLLL = -7       Increase bet by +2
LLLLL = -10      Increase bet by +3

Try it.  You'll like it!

Dozens:

WWWWW = +10  (-3)
WWWWL = +7 (-2)
WWWLL = +4 (-1)
WWLLL = +1 (0)
WLLLL = -2   (+1)
LLLLL = -5    (+2)
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!
