Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

I had an idea after watching a couple of the Eddie's videos last night and wanted to get it down for future consideration and discussion.  I'm posting here with the caveat that it is in the notepad because it has not been thoroughly tested yet.

The method is a low-stakes, lightly progressing money management system that seems safe but with the potential to be quite profitable.

Level 1 - Virtual Bets
Level 2 - Single unit bet
Level 3a - Single unit bet
Level 3b - Parlay of 3a, now a 2-unit bet

After a win, you move up a level (1->2, 2->3, 3a->3b).  A win at 3b drops back to 3a and repeats as long as we are continuing to win.

After a loss, move down a complete level (2->1, 3a or 3b->2).

I have been trying this out with simple B/R tracking.  I bet for a chop after the first appearance of a color.  If I have a R, I bet for B.  If I get a win, I move up and wait for the next BR to bet B again on a fresh R.  If I get RR, I move down a level and virtual bet until the next BR to bet again on a fresh R.  Same on Blacks - bet according to the level, and then only on a fresh B.

The wins accumulate at a slightly-better-than-flat-betting rate during a streak of chops.  After a win on level 2, all bets at level 3 are using one of the house's chips.  After 2 losses, we are sitting at level 1 and virtual betting until the wins come, avoiding the terrible stretches that random likes to generate to deplete our bankroll.

I have been playing with a session BR of 30 (Short testing has only seen a drawdown of 2, but I know that won't hold) and a win target of 10.

Best on BV NZ, manageable and playable on 0 or 0/00 tables.

I have spent the day hand-testing this (I still have no clue how to program  :'().  The results are that this is an extremely stable, low-draw-down way of staying in a game and making a unit or two.  As I was playing, I noticed that there were some opportunities to play the repeat when we were at the lowest tier waiting for the chops to show up.  I was afraid that I might be curve-fitting for the session that I was in, so I started playing this as well and it made a huge difference

With this change, the drawdowns are remaining very light but there is a much quicker upside when things are not chopping in our favor.  How I am playing it is for a single repeat (1 unit regardless of trends - be safe) when at Level 1.  If we get 7 or 8 reds in a row, we only play the first one and be glad for our extra chip.

The other rules remain the same.  Give it a whirl (especially if you can code).  Seemingly solid here.

hi, thanks for share. This is correct?

Colbster

That is correct for one side or the other without the addition of the bet to repeat at level 1.  I play B and R at the same time.

R Track
B Win for B, B moves to level 2  Track for info on first B
B This is a virtual loss - stay at level 1 for R
B As we are already on our second B, there is no bet or consequence here
R Bet 1 on B for chop
B Win +1, move B to Level 3a Bet 1 on B because R is at level 1
R Lose -1, net 0, move R to Level 2 Bet 1 on B
B Win +1, net 1, move B to level 3b Bet 1 on R
B Lose -1, net 0, move R down to Level 1
B No bet
B No bet
B No bet
R Bet 2 on black
B Win +2, net 2, Move down to Level 3A, Bet 1 on B
R Lose -1, net 1, Bet 1 on B

You are constantly moving from B to R, with bets only after the first showing of a color to either repeat or chop depending on the progression.  Additional repeats are ignored until a new color starts the next bet.
