Negative bet: up as you lose
Positive: up as you win.
So, if we want to use the advantages of both:
After every bet, we rise our bet. If we lose we add (negative - because we lost) ) and we also add if we win (positive) until we arive to a positive result.
So we always add.
I tried it playing ECs and so far the results were good.
Any thoughts on it?

It has been tried by many players, but just like any other progression, it can end with a disaster if you hit a bad streak. You need to add more rules like resetting after every new high, or resetting after you lose x number of units from the current high, etc. and keep the losses down. This method has been discussed in a couple threads I believe, but I can't recall the thread titles.
