What are your thoughts on this "strategy"...Progression ideas and the like.

It is no different than betting on any random EC, or always on the same.
To back my opinion I've downloaded 5000 numbers, and here are the statistics:
Max blacks in a row: 8
Max reds in a row: 9
Zigzag starting from red: 9
Zigzag strating from black: 10
BRR or RBB pattern: both went on for max 11 spins

In my opinion we could only win in the long run with a special tracker, that tracks all kind of EC patterns, and if a very rare event happens, we would bet against it with progression. I mean like 18 of the same in a row, or zigzag or rbbrbb, or rrbbrrbb, etc. There is a huge selection of patterns, and it should track all possible EC bets. I wish I could test this, to see how often would I have a trigger when tracking let's say 20 different EC pattern, but it's not really possible on paper, and I cannot program.
I know theoretically past events does not have any impact on future events, but in reality every pattern breaks after a while. I would bet my life savings I will never see any EC pattern go over 25 spins. (I don't have much savings ;D )
