Is standard deviation how far outside of its average expected hit range a number ventures..

My question anyway isnt that  its ... how much more than its expexted range can a number hit over millions of spins. . Maximum ever... so it should  have hit 500 times. .. but it hits 600 and thats the most high it ever hits above average or 1 /37
Boom boom sir

Standard deviation is SQRT (npq)

So put in n=1,000,000 p=1/37  q=36/37 and do the arithmetic.

Over that number of spins, normal distribution applies so within one SD off mean is 68% chance, within two SD is 95% etc.

Take a look at this website

Mean is 1,000,000/37 ;)
