One prog that I like to fool around with when I just test is using the following lines with different stages for even money position.

Level 1: 1 1 1
Level 2: 2 2 3

That I like about it is that the two first generate +1 more often then it end up with -1
And I like the idea that level two follow the same principal as level one.

Then the stages is when you are -1 +0 +1 and at level 2 you can move down to level 1.
I also notice it is very effective when some one play that favorites will still come with out a full equilibrium to appear or in other words that all formations will have exact one show each with out any imbalance.
