Hello Maths section.

Don't think I have ever posted in here before.

But it does feel warm and friendly, so here goes.

WRT BetVoyager.

Would one of U very clever chaps, dissect, decipher, and generally give a lay-persons explanation for the following information, lifted from BetVoyagers Casino site.

Its all gobbledygook to me, (and a few others too I suspect!)

Thank you Maths section.  ;)

On the BV roulette table are a couple of settings that you can customize to your own preferences.  One is the number of spins that are generated at a given time (default=10), and I really have no idea why someone would want to fiddle with this setting, unless they think that the casino is manipulating spins and they want the a greater number of spins predetermined, reducing the casino's ability to react to their betting patterns.

The shift feature allows you to pick a number that will be added to the randomly generated spin results from the casino.  For instance, if you have bet that on the 19-36 EC and you are concerned that the casino is purposefully giving you low spins, you have the ability to add any number of your own choosing to the spins to get your desired result.  If you were to add 6, for instance, as your shift, any number from 13-18 that would have previously been a loss would increase by 6, giving you 19-24, all wins.  The downside is obviously that your possible spins of 31-36 would have 6 added to them as well, netting 6 losers of 1-6.

I can see someone (I had a chat with a fellow player this morning concerning this very feature) just giving a nudge in the direction they want.  The odds remain the same for every spin, but it might be something that you could use to just tip the scales a little in your direction.
