Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

153 unit bankroll.

50 unit win target.

Bet the penultimate dozen.

If you win, bet the same amount on both of the last dozens to show.

Progression line 1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-7-9-12-16-22-29-39 = 153 units.

If you lose the single dozen bet, move 1 step to the right.

If you win the single dozen bet and lose the 2 dozen bet, repeat, don't move down bet line.

If you win the both bets you will be ahead so start over with the 1st 1 unit bet.

Cheers,

George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

I just wanted to post this so I can access it if I need to in the future.

This is the progression I like instead of the one above.

With this progression, you have to win twice betting the same amount for each bet after the second 2 unit bet.

If you win the first bet of the double bet and lose the second bet, you don't move to the right, you can replay that bet again.

As with all these multiple bets, if you are getting too high a bet for you liking, you can just move back down the line on a single win and then start trying for a double win.  This can buy you a lot of spins if the 2 wins in a row aren't coming along much.

Here's the progression:
1
1
1
2
2X2
2X2
3x2
4x2
5x2
6x2
7x2
9x2
11x2
14x2
18x2
22x2
28x2
35x2
43x2
54x2
68x2
85x2

That's it.
