Kurt von Haller wrote e few books which you could surely order from some sources on the :. but they are pretty expensive and they are written in the german language. I don't know if they ever got translated.

maybe you could check with your public library and they can help you there?

cheers

you might email Dirk Schroter at paroli@gmx.de
If you click on some of the links on the page you will get a hint of what is to find in the book.

He used to have a stack of the Roulette Lexikon which is some 800 pages in german writing.       Its merely a lexicon, I have it myself, and if you are intersted in probability and the word "Binomialverteilung" is not a town in Slovakia,  its a good read.        You will not find any systems as such but a brief explanation of some well known ones.        Ebay is the only source otherwise.       A frontrunner for the lexicon was "Die berechnung des zufalls", but they are all gone out of print.

PS: Don`t know why I can`t post the link so you can click on it, otherwise go to Paroli. de and click on roulette lexicon at the top of the page.

Welcome to the forum, Kelly!

That was a very erudite and helpful post.

And a robust sense of humour, too!  ;D ("...and the word "Binomialverteilung" is not a town in Slovakia..." LOLOLOLOLOLOL)

NB: I've enabled the links for you.

Very new members can't post links. That's to help protect the forum from scammers and spammers.

You'll find after a certain number of posts your links will post OK.

Kurt v Haller was supposed to have a very special progression under development for some years, but I don`t think it ever surfaced.   He is probably dead or very old by now, some 10 years ago he was in the early eighties.    Basieux claims that there are several mathematical mistakes in the book but generally its correct.   Basieux sell and write math books himself, so I have never argued with him in that department.   If he says so, its probably correct.
