What constitutes a progression cheating in an Online Casino

Since there are number of casinos that state in their Terms & Agreements that they view progressions as cheating I was wondering if anyone knew what progressions exactly are prohibited.

One such prog is obviously Martingale but if a specific system uses a very conservative 3 step progressions on 2 dosens and wins more than loses is there a chance that a player can be refused payment?
