Roulette for the millions.

I recently ordered this book after reading some good reviews on this forum and a few others.

To be honest, it was a bit of a disappointment. But hey, you pay your money and hope you can find a bit of inspiration somewhere.

The ‘small gem’ maybe the green booklet at the back with 20,000 live spins from the Macao casino.

I will lay out some of the stats and maybe something can be gleaned from them.

flukey luke

For anyone who has not read the book, it is the story of a group of players headed by Mr Dunne who play roulette around the clock at the Macao casino.  There are 20,000 recorded certified spins in a small booklet with a breakdown of results.

I will break down the spins into groups of 370 spins (10 cycles of 37)

01) 3, 0, 2, 2, 2, 4, 0, 0, 2, 3.

This tells us that the number 1 appeared 3 times in the first cycle of 37 spins.
It did not appear at all in the second cycle of 37 spins.

It appeared twice in the third cycle of 37 spins.

Looking at it, you can see that as long as the number 1 appeared once, you had at least another hit in each 37 spin cycle over the 10 cycles.

I will show the stats like this to begin with and let’s see what it throws up.

(I will put them up when time permits)

It may pay dividends to look at things from a different perspective. It certainly can't do any harm.

You have to do that for a few years before becoming able to subconsiously "connect the dots" between all the aspects of a game.

Thusly, i'm confident (by the math that i) have found one major method, with many minor ones together, to now handly defeat live baccarat.  I don't know the subtleties of roulette well enough, hence "hang around" here for mostly more of the insights into gambling in general.

I have put in only a few hours a week/month on this project over the last four years, and am slowly putting it all together.  You just can't find any direct help on these boards.  I don't really know the reason for that.  But "getting there" none the less.

Want to "hit" a few casinos at first, then try out some of the online challenges, like the Wiz's.  Maybe even collaborate with someone from each of the other games, to extend the work.

Can we get a clearer picture if I break the above data down even further and turn the figures into splits?

01/04) 5, 2, 2, 4, 4, 6, 2, 2, 2, 6.

02/05) 0, 1, 1, 2, 1, 3, 4, 2, 1, 0.

03/06) 2, 1, 3, 4, 2, 1, 2, 2, 3, 1.

07/10) 1, 4, 4, 2, 1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 0.

08/11) 2, 2, 1, 1, 4, 4, 3, 5, 4, 1.

09/12) 2, 0, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 0, 3.

13/16) 2, 2, 3, 2, 2, 1, 3, 3, 3, 4.

14/17) 2, 3, 1, 5, 4, 1, 4, 1, 1, 1.

15/18) 4, 0, 3, 2, 3, 0, 2, 1, 2, 1.

19/22) 0, 4, 2, 2, 3, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2.

20/23) 1, 1, 0, 0, 1, 5, 1, 1, 3, 4.

21/24) 1, 3, 3, 1, 3, 2, 4, 2, 1, 0.

25/28) 3, 4, 0, 0, 2, 0, 0, 1, 3, 1.

26/29) 1, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 3, 3.

27/30) 2, 1, 3, 3, 0, 1, 3, 2, 2, 2.

31/34) 1, 1, 2, 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 4.

32/35) 2, 4, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 3, 1, 0.

33/36) 4, 2, 2, 3, 2, 4, 1, 1, 1, 4.

Here is one thing I noticed looking at this lot of data.

Looking down the first row....

14/17) 2
15/18) 4  = 6 hits.

32/35) 2
33/36) 4 = 6 hits.

Looking down the second row....

07/10) 4
08/11) 2 = 6 hits.

21/24) 3
25/28) 4 = 7 hits.

32/35) 4
33/36) 2 = 6 hits.

Looking down the third row....

03/06) 3
07/10) 4 = 7 hits.

You get the idea. Going down the rows, you find loads of 2+4, 3+4, 6+3, 5+2 situations like I showed above. The worst I could find was in row 9 where the best was 25/28 and 26/29 showing a 3+3.

Too bad we don't have those 20,000 spins in digital format.  It would be a lot more useful.  I wonder how hard it would be to convert to digital by scanning the booklet?
I too have that book.  I haven't looked at it in quite a while.  The interesting thing about this book and a couple of others I've read is the author's best winnings are usually betting against the wheel.  In other words if they see long patterns or sequences develop they bet that they will end.  They only bet 1 or 2 times not wanting to risk too much money on any attack.
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Hello George.

One other thing that I found interesting in this book was the wheel that they used in Macao.

It is a single zero wheel, however the number arrangement on the wheel is very different to what I am used too.

I am not even sure if they still use this number arrangement in Macao or have changed over to the other version.

There are loads of good stats in the book.

Longest sleeping dozen = 37 spins.

Longest sleeping column = 26 spins.

Longest sleeping final (2) = 96 spins.

Longest sleeping number = 392 spins.

Nothing really out of ordinary considering stats. Maybe DZ?  I thought 32 was d limit  ;D And what about wheel arrangement?  Different layout than regular single 0 wheels?
I guess that sector players would not 2 be happy about that...

This is an american wheel layout with a single 0 in spot where the 00 is.  Single 0 has been removed.
