Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

Hi Guys,

I've been playing roulette on and off for a year or so now and I am looking into employing a system that would yield a break even result in the long run. Ive been testing it for a week or so now and it seems to be stable but I have yet to run it through rigorous testing. Would love it if you guys could give me some feedback on it.

The system uses a Paroli-Martingale Hybrid for roulette.

I typically start with 1000 Units and only bet on even bets.

I start of betting 1 unit.

Winning progression: Bet 1 Win, Bet 2 Win reset to 1 unit.
                             : Bet 1 Win, Bet 2 Lose, reset to 1 unit*
* previous bet carried forward
                           *: Bet 1 win, reset to 1 unit, recovering the original unit.
                           *: Bet 1 lose, bet in a negative progression at 1, 2, 4, 8, 16. If they all lose reset back to 1. If they win anywhere in the middle reset to 1

Losing progression:  Bet 1 Lose, bet in a negative progression at 1, 2, 4, 8, 16. If they all lose reset back to 1. If they win anywhere in the middle reset to 1

It basically has a stop loss on the martingale at 16, and on any winning streaks it stops after a 2 win streak.

I have been playing this system on three live dealer tables and I always seem to be able to grind my way back, after hitting the progression stop loss, to my original starting point in terms of bankroll.

The reason I am interested in seeing whether this can be a break even strategy is because I am able to get commission on my betting turnover, and so if this does in fact break even, then I will be able to free roll the commission.

Thanks in advance.
