Another double dozen trot for the millions

Interesting progression for double dozens:

Start by betting 1-1.  After you get 2 losses in a row, add +1 to your bet, so 2-2.  If you get a third loss in a row, add +1 again, so 3-3.  If a 4th loss in a row, add +1 again, so 4-4 etc...

Any time you have even a single win, it breaks the above pattern and you must wait for either a win sequence (explained below) or two losses in a row which will cause you to increase by 1-1 again.

Any time you get 3 wins in a row drop back 1-1 unit.  So, if you're betting say 4-4 and you get 3 wins in a row, you drop back 1 step to 3-3.  If you get 2 more wins in a row (making 5 wins in a row) drop back another step, so back to 2-2 etc...

Any time you get a loss, it ends the above sequence and we need two losses in a row to increase or 3 wins in a row to decrease.

When you're having a very bad loss to win ratio, you will not fully recover by the time you get back to 1-1.  This is necessary because any trot that always fully recovers by the time you get back to 1-1 will have too many runs from hell that tank the system.  It's what I call the tax you have to pay the casino to play their game.  That doesn't mean this one won't have any runs from hell, but they will be much fewer and farther between.

Use your own bet selection process.

This works great most of the time but as soon as I post it, I have the worst run to date.  It did recover, but only after dropping 350 units in the hole, and when it did get back to 1-1, I was still -80 units in the hole.  This is worse than I had anticipated.  The -350 is not a deal breaker in my book because we can't beat this game under funded.  It's the -80 when I got back to 1-1 that I don't like.  That is more casino tax than I wanted to pay.  One tweak would be to wait for 3 wins every time before dropping back 1 step.  That makes this would make draw downs deeper and getting back to 1-1 will take more spins, but when you do get back, you will be closer to even and most of the time in profit.

This is just a modification on a D'Alembert type progression for double dozens.  The standard D'Alembert for double dozens is plus one step on a loss and minus one step after a double win.  D'ALembert is a reasonable progression method because you win a couple of units every time you have a loss coupled with 2 wins.  This is because the 2 wins will always be higher than the 1 loss.  The killer is when our loss to win ratio gets way out of whack.  We can get lost in the black hole.  Same thing can happen with this new idea, it just doesn't happen as often.

So, I can't say that this is the silver bullet.  Use it if you like it but remember it can bite.
