For better or worse...My bizarre introduction story into Roulette

I only recently became involved with this strange but fascinating beast we call Roulette.In about a 6 month period I have learned the hard way rather quickly what it takes to have a lil success with this game so hear goes...Started with a dable here and there with an airball machine at the Harrah's in New Orlean.Would make 50.00 bucks here,lose 50.00 there.I thought,surely there is some type of system out there that can give you a bit of leg up playing this. So to the google monster i went and alas the Rouletteforum.cc popped up and I delved deeply for many a nights into the abundance of systems that i came across.Before I knew much of how things went,who respected members were etc.I came across John Legends systems,and with the seductive language/ease of the systems and others HG type early reviews I gave it a go at a real table.(my first time at a live one) And I'll be damned if I won 10 bucks on the very first spin.It's a bit of a false eureka moment when you first believe that you somehow have this magical power to control where the ball lands following a system and that first taste is oh so seductive.Anywho,as a newbie I was playing balls to the wall Martingale on every spin and every huge risky bet payed off every single time.I started off playing 5 dollar chips,then quickly to 25 dollar,then by the end of the first week,was playing $100 like they were candy.I COULDNT lose.By the end of the first week,I had turned 600.00 into (i shite you not) $20,000. I was on cloud nine.The world was mine as i looked out of my comped penthouse suite and ate like a king at the buffets...My daily routine was wakeup,trot down to the casino,make a cool grand before breakfast,take a nap,grab lunch,make another couple grand If i felt like it..chace some tail on bourbon street,grab dinner,another grand..bedtime. rinse repeat...Then THE WALL.I woke up,went to the table and the matirx systems just completly stopped working.MArty after MArty failed.I thought,hmm just 1 off day no prob.But that night,same thing happened and the following day the same.20,000 was dwindling just a bit.I then started to try other systems in a bit of a panic without giving them time to breath. I'd play one,if it lost 1 or two in a row,id quit and try something else,one after another until eventually that 20,000 was down to 5,000 and the downward spiral continued until i had 100 dollar left.Looking back now,i just cannot wrap my head around the whole thing.At the end of the day,was just an incredible anomaly of luck and chance.  But in a way it was a blessing in disguise and it made me realize that nothing is guranteed in this game and made me study up more in this forum and elsewhere about the sate of mind and money management one must use to have success in this game.If only i had that knowledge soon after that anomaly,that 20,000 would still be deep in my pockets and who knows.Sometimes ignorance is bliss as in this case,unfortunantly the proper knowledge didnt arrive soon after and it bit me in the arse. Anywho,just thought i;d share.Cheers.

for some strange reason evryone wins at the begining! it seems like to be a secret dark  power behind that , who knows? well in gambling generally evryones agree , that first of all u must be dislipined ,second u must be lucky[ a good player doesnt need more than 20%luck in my opinion], third u must have enough big br , and even so u have to study the game as better as u can , if u finally find a way to win consistently ,then this is not gambling! i ve done it in the past and i know the feeling......
