Quote from "How to play roulette":

How would the contrary psychological approach have to be? (Contrary to the "Perfect loser" figure):

1) While losing, keep your bets minimal.

2) While winning, you rise the bets (according to the current system)

3) Losses accumulate slowly (according to the method and betting system).

4) A positive sequence occurs, which brings big winnings.

5) The stack of initial chips plus the momentary losses are exceeded.

6) This is the moment to leave the game with important winnings or going back to the initial tactic of waiting for another favorable sequence.

What could we say about this very interesting methodology?

Has anyone applied these principles with success in his/her play?

They do seem very logical.

I do. I use educated guessing as the bet selection process. It produces the results that I need. When not doing very well I bet the table minimum. When doing very well I use a much higher amount. It was advice given to me by a gambler at a casino more than 35 years ago. Perhaps you will recall this phrase: "test as you go?" That means to test the waters as you go. Be aware of the current state. It's the single thing that lets my bet selection process work out for me. I do this because I prefer to reach my goal more rapidly.

If you think about it. This is exactly what card counting teams do when they use that system. They use people to find favorable counts then they send in others to play the favorable count for high stakes. I do the same thing with educated guessing.
I am the living proof that Roulette can be beat every time I set out to beat it.
