First time I ever played roulette, I played my secret magic system that I made up with my superior math skills. lol .. Well, I was young and really naive , and the system had a name I later found out called the Martingale.

I would do so well, then bam, lost it all.

So, after losing every time, I figured that I must be able to win if I let the bet ride.

Actually this has worked for me. However, leaving that large stack of chips on the table that you won will test your nerves. Every fiber in your body will say take your winnings, as everyone else at the table looks on with disbelief.

I put the minimum bet on a color in the hopes that it would hit 7 in a row.

At the time, I would martingale up to 256. It works over a short run, but you lose if you want to play all night. So, instead, I play the other side of the fence. Risk my 300 by playing the min bet  and let it ride.

I am constantly keeping track of how much I lost and what my profit will be if I win the next round. It is incredibly difficult to not take 30 profit when you are down 40. Just take the profit and reset the bet to minimum. However, that is not a winning move. You have to keep it on the table and take 1 win after you bet the table max.
