I find it funny just how greedy I am when it comes to roulette.

Side 1
Place the bet, lose.
Double the bet, lose.
It's going to win, double the bet!

Side 2
Place the bet, win.
Let it ride, win.
Let it ride, sht its not going to win, I can't risk that much money.

Results.
Side 2: I lose $2
Side 1: I lose over $100

See how greedy I am? Side 2 I can't possibly risk it, I might lose $2. Side 1, I'll risk it all to get that $2 back.

Would greedy be like parlaying for too long?

Greedy would be not parlaying because you might lose the big bet, when you only actually risked the minimum bet.

Let Me Win

That's a good post.

Progression is a double edge sword.

Personally I found the best solution was a mixture of both flat betting and progression.

So something along the lines of a mini martingale 1 2 4 if lose three times in a row reset with 1 2 4

So whilst it's still a martingale it can also be viewed as a flat bet of 7 units.
