Hi,

I would like to know if anyone knows the answer to that:

What are the chances of a dealer hitting 5 of the same

number in 10 spins of the wheel?

albertojonas

it depends on hoq good is the dealer
;)

Randomness is just opposite to probability in nature and in roulette we have to fight against randomness. get a basic book of probability to solve these puzzles than posting a thread like this. You better send a pm to bayes to get it solved. Next time please do not ask what is the chances of a number appearing 4 times within 10 times.

AL.

I don't see Y this question put by the Topic Mod/thread starter
should not be asked.
Its a valid question, that might, just might by on other peoples
mind too.
It must be a cultural thing.

If anyone has the answer, please post it up Open Forum
and not solely in PM.

And if I remember from my college days, (its a few days ago now!),
randomness is not the opposite of probability.

Certain= v= Random
Improbable = v = Probable

Probability is still a mathematical guess as to something happening,
its not certain.

Random = U don't know what's coming next.
Certain = U do know what is next.

predictability is another thing entirely!! :smile:
