I have a question for Gizmotron. Aren't you cutting off your winning streaks by stopping at 3 units? I imagine you make exceptions for your 3 unit win rule when things are really working in your favor.

It's the secret to why I win almost all of my sessions. No matter how you get your bet selections the natural tendency for EC bets is to have up & down waves with the general track grinding downward slowly to a point of no recovery. This is the average common track of a long termed, large number, average. In order to win you must take advantage of the first time that you reach an upward point in a wave. That upward point for me is 3 net wins. I know from experience that quitting at 2 or 1 up is also a good idea if the session is long and difficult.  I just come back later to see if the conditions have changed. I'm always looking for an easy win streak.

I tried to spell out that anyone can become a millionaire if they can earn $250,000 per year for four years in a row. This is the IRS's definition.  So I break that down into $333 units, times 3 to get to $1,000 sessions for 250 days out of each year.  In my case I just save up for a new RV, and travel expenses so I can get by with $5 chips, $90 bets, times 3, and that adds up to about $250 to $270 per session. Everything is on hold though with these shut downs. I never figured on that.

The secret to gambling is in not becoming greedy. In the past 20 years I have always been ahead in a session at least for a small time at some point in the session. I created this stop win point in order to keep my winnings.

I don't look for monster win streaks anymore.

In the R-sim games I look for quick recoveries. I double or quadruple my bets on a really good looking long shot like one numbers in the finales going ballistic for a moment.  By using the finales I get a kind of repeater game but it's with 3 or 4 numbers per finale. I also play a side chain bet that works like insurance. I might pile 4 chips on the finale or two I hope will hit but I also put recovery for a lost bet if it does not hit on a few other possibilities. One bet that works pretty good is to target everything that has hit in the past 5 to 10 spins. I will pick 1, 2, or 3 numbers that are in the repeaters column and then pick another few as insurance. Many times it all adds up to an EC bet. The insurance bets and up with a very small win or a very small loss. But the big bets push me way ahead. All this at the cost of an EC bet. You can see that in my play at the R-sim.
