1  what this means:

HHL<-L

HHLL<-H
HHHH<-H
HHHHL<-L

(The mathematical ones would read the first line as: HLH is less than minusL and promptly shake their heads in disbelief!!)

2 how you use the above in conjunction with the jump dozens?

3  how much is bet on what?

1. First. Math has nothing to do with Roulette. You must get that in to your head mate.

34.33.2 = play LOW and Doz 2+3
H  H  L 

12.15.19 = play HIGH and doz 1+3
L  L  H

3. Flatbets only

I must really be getting slow because I haven't been able to figure out what the flat bet is.

If we bet Low and dozen 2 & 3 say 1 unit each.  Doesn't that  lose 3 units or break even?

If it's a hit from numbers 0 to 12 you lose 1 unit
If it's a hit from numbers 13 to 18 you win 2 units
If it's a hit from numbers 19 to 36 you break even
