Question About Hollandish System

I like Hollandish system so much. I usually use it for my gambling sessions. I've a question about the system. Sometimes when losses come in a row the bet amount raises so much. I want to implement a maximum bet limit to the system. At which point should i accept the loss and start a new session with 1 unit. I know the original system has no stopping point, but i just want to accept the loss at some point and start the progression again in order to avoid losing my total balance. I would be very happy if experienced gamblers answer my question.
