I was in the pub the other day

telling my mate Jimmy, about my trip out with the wife

Me and the misses had gone to watch the local cricket match.

The day was beautiful, and just right for watch the old game.

As the match progressed, there where some brilliant shots

by some of the teams better batsman.

Anyway, I was telling Jimmy what happened next.

I had just been to fetch me and the wife a refreshing drink

We both watch the game continue, when suddenly

the scoring batsman, hit the ball so hard and high

it was heading towards our position.

"What happened then?" asks Jimmy

well the ball came so fast, we did not have time to move

and.................I saw the ball landing right between my misses legs! ouch!

"Did it do much damage Graham" Jimmy quizzed again?

Yes, I said,......... it broke two of my bloody fingers!!
