After looking at Frippers thread, ad viewing, I would like to see what anyone else is upto to make a living from the web, this is what I am doing currently;

AdSense since it's first week, I think it was back in early 2003, still going strong from this I have earnt excellent money, it helps to have a web site/s that get good targetted traffic, I have a few of them, best day was around the Ã,£200 worst day, besides the start, around Ã,£40 they pay direct into your account every month, most paid to me in a month was Ã,£4700 ish, a nice little earner.

Roulette, sign in, play until 2 units won then leave it for the day, been doing this now on RNG for about 4 months, started with zero now have $478, playing on a well known PoKeR platform, played the freerolls until I had 0.50 cents, I also played a few double throughs, pay $1.20 and come away with $2.00 + 0.80 cents, if lose then play a $3 doublethrough, only thing with poker is the time it takes and you play against some real muppets sometimes.

Greyhounds, started about 3 weeks ago, betting with 0.10p flat bets, put Ã,£50 into an account, currently @ Ã,£51.18, not much I know but it's not a loss, yet.

Besides AdSense, I cant be bothered getting into affiliate marketing, theres too much of it and for peanuts, tried amazon years ago, you have to take their word for it that those 5000 people you sent to them didn't spend a penny, they can bull$hit you all day so packed it in.

Tried the geegees, also packed it in, some horses are only in a race to stretch their legs for the next race, jockies are corrupt as far as I am concerned, not because I lost money, just thought about it, a jockey can make or break the outcome of ANY race.

So I had a look at greyhounds in the UK, all 6 want to win and once let loose the quickest will win there can be no intereference unless they are in the wrong race that is. Currently I am making 2 selections per race for a full meeting in the morning and a full in the afternoon, started this on the 19th Dec 2010 and have had some success, not betting yet just tracking the results, so far

1st choice wins = 26
2nd choice wins = 13

From 83 races, best odds won, 6/1, I am keeping a running file with different methods of betting, flat bet on first selection, flat bet on both selections, +1 on a loss etc etc, after 3 days flat betting on the 1st selection is looking the best way forward.

Does anyone else play the dogs? are you winning with your method of play.

Yeah should have stated ONLINE related earnings.

While I am here, does anyone know how to work out the return for placing a bet on the dogs to cover the 1st 2 dogs home in any order OR in the correct order? how do I calculate it, I have had 15 correct order wins and 4 back to front IE I selected trap1 and trap 5 for 1st and 2nd but trap 1 came second and trap 5 won, so that also bettable but how do you calc the odds before the off?

just took a screenshot of a win that just happened today which prompted me to ask someone who knew, I keep meening to find out as it happens fairly often, see screenshot to see what I mean, my choices were 2,4 they came in in that order and at reasonable odds, 3/ & 6/1 how is the return calculated for win in the correct order and how is it calculated for a win in any order?

Wow that's alot of money in one month.
What did/do  you have on your websites? How do you get traffic to your sites? (Most asked questions ever, eh?)

The million dollar question, not easy, unique fresh content is the answer, unique being the keyword, rehashing whatever everyone else has is futile.

What did/do  you have on your websites?

Localised tourism arena, that's all I'm gonna say. Sites have been running since 1996 and still going strong.

I few months back I was into this to, adsense and all. I had some good ideas but never bought a website host, it was to much work to do a own website I thought. Now I have realised that you can't come anywere if you don't put some time into it.

Made most of my money in ClickBank selling Roulette related info or Bots.

When I first got online.
I looked at HYIPS. (High Yield Investment Programs.)
But nearly all of them where ponzi schemes.
This was way before Bernie Mayhof did the biggest ponzi scheme in US history.

I look at many things that claim that they can make you cash online.
Very few things do as they claim.

Slot machines.
We call em Pokies here.
Have won over $3000 with them.
And lost a few $100 as well.

I use to be in MLM.
Amway.
Usana.
Melaluca
And another one I forgot the name of.

Tried hard.
But I suck at selling.
Even tried selling Vacuum Cleaners at one stage.

I play the lotto when I have spare cash.
Put my entries in.
Have won a few times.
But nothing of significance.

Texas Holdem.
My Mum had a group round at the club.
They started playing there.
So I looked at it.
Played a few sessions.
Even one a game.
Found it to expensive in the long run.
I would spend some $50 on the day.
I play Texas Holdem online from time to time.
Hard to win. But I have one 1 tournament.

I have collected cans and bottles.
Done paper rounds.
Anything to make money.

Now I just drive cabs.
And spend my time writing posts in this forum.

And of course...
Using software to play at online casinos.
On there roulette casinos.

I am looking at learing to drive dump trucks in the big mining industry.
And quit my job.
Then go and drive trucks.
But am finding it difficult to raise the funds.
Things keep popping up.
I am sure I will get there.
Eventually.

I also look at opps that are sent to me.
Involved in a few now.
May get a payout from one of em.
Only time will tell.

Hello, I have enjoyed reading this thread. It is great to see people try and create different income streams for themself instead of just relying on the 9-5 job.
I would like to share something that some of you may find interesting.
This small book has changed a lot of lives and not just financially either.

In addition, I am half owner of a restaurant. Yes, thats open to a couple insults (long story). I go to the movies as often as I can!! I also play darts. Interesting thread. I had no idea you could make so much with Adsense, well done Superman!

I had a go at making money with trading/horseracing on Betfair a few years ago, but wasn't very successful. In my opinion there are just too many variables in horseracing, plus, good data is expensive, and there is definitely some corruption (if you're a jockey, how difficult is it to make a horse LOSE and not draw undue attention to yourself?).

There are many many making a heck of a lot more than I do, there's a site called plenty of fish (dating site) he was making over $10,000 yes 10 thousand per month, traffic is key.
