I was at Dublinbet earlier today and the lady who was the dealer consistently hit open sectors of the wheel 4,5,6 times in a row.  It sure didn't look random to me.

It could be my imagination, or bad bet selection, of course.  However, I remember Iboba (Flat Info) saying once a skiller dealer can hit precise enough to the number.  Just makes me think.

..and this doesn't have to be limited to roulette.  If a dealer knows how to arrange cards in blackjack, baccarat, etc to favor the house, what can a bettor do?

Well, I personally do not believe that such a control is possible when dealer has to throw ball clockwise and anticlockwise alternately with wheel moving in opposite direction. Further, diamonds (deflectors) set in the wheel makes it more difficult to concentrate the ball everytime in a particular sector willingly. Whether you win or not is your luck only. Do not blame the dealer. It happens sometimes that dealer asks you about your favorite number and gets it soon, but this is just a trick to get tips if you remain lucky. A rigid bet selection gets you loss sooner or later.
In card games, it is very much possible to manipulate.
