Progression Charts.

Here's one I did earlier (well yesterday actually).
Its a 4 number bet and a 5 number bet progression chart for bets starting at 1 pence/cent.

4's on the left. 5's on the right.
(BTW the 4's read right to left, the 5's read left to right. I was trying to centre the Chart!!)
lets go thro, how u compile a chart, and how important it is to always know your loses* at ANY point along the way.
*(loses = accumulated loses, should u lose the bet at THAT precise point)
Its rough draft, so I'm apologetic for the quality. but just show how we start the process off, and how we get the raw calc's down on paper.  :embarrassed:

Lets go thro the headings in the progression chart.

I'm saying this is MY way of doing it. Others, and including U, may do it differently.
I know serval members here, do variations on this theme of presentation style.

The headings are:

Style of the Bet.

The Bet.

The Loses.

The Win(s)

The Gain.

Put this way, in a table it looks like this:-

[csv=,]
Style of Bet,The Bet, The Loses, The Wins, The Gain, Notes
-,-,-,-,-,-
[/csv]
Roulette..........................
Physical in Nature, Random in Opportunity                                                    The Reveal Originator!

Chrisbis

To make one of these tables, the Forum PHP code is this:-

[csv=,][/csv]

the csv is the code the PHP machine uses to make a table,
The comma (,) is the means by which, we are going the tell the machine, how I want to separate out the information, into different columns.

The equals sign is that instruction to the machine code.

If U want to have comma inside your working table, then You can assign any indicator u want, to separate out the info.

Hence You could have

[csv=-][/csv]

or
[csv=/][/csv]

or
[csv=>][/csv]

(Victor taught me how to do these. Once You have done one, its easy afterwards.
He also taught me the code to be able to show U the code, and stop the Machine acting on my code!)

Now then,
The info in the table, and the compiling of the progression charts can begin.

I'll do a short version of the hand written one I posted up at the Head of this Topic.

Here goes.
Info.
[csv=,]
Level,Style of Bet,The Bet, The Loses, The Wins, The Gain, Notes
01,0.01 on 4,0.04,0.04,0.36,0.32, If at BV No Zero (pay is 36:1)
02,0.01 on 4,0.04,0.08,0.36,0.28,-
03,0.01 on 4,0.04,0.12,0.36,0.24,--
[/csv]

Which when compiled in machine code looks like this:-

[csv=,]
Level,Style of Bet,The Bet, The Loses, The Wins, The Gain, Notes
01,0.01 on 4,0.04,0.04,0.36,0.32, If at BV No Zero (pay is 36:1)
02,0.01 on 4,0.04,0.08,0.36,0.28,-
03,0.01 on 4,0.04,0.12,0.36,0.24,--
[/csv]

In here, U can see the Style of the bet, is putting Chips (1 off) on 4 bets (inside in this case).
The bet is then the total of that sum (0.01 x 4) = 0.04
The Loses on the 1St level will be the lose of those 4 chips, so that too is (0.01 x 4) = 0.04
The Wins if playing as a NET rate on a Roulette wheel, are what U are paid at. So here, its an side number, which pays 36:1 on ONE of the inside numbers, so 0.01 chip will produce 0.36 return.
The bet amount being returned, is already in the table/chart, so no need to worry about that.
The Gain, is a simple calculation, to obtain Net Gain, Not Gross Gain, at that Betting Point, by subtracting Ur Loses on that Line/Level, from Ur Wins on that LIne/Level.

Notes is self explan.

Very nice work and nice progression.
One thing i am missing with RX is to play with low values and increase does.

I could note that your progression win at every step.
I don't want to argue or debate - but i would like to discuss if it is necessary to be so.

I hope you are fine by that.
I am looking into this regarding progression and not win every step using a progression as i find out there is not need to do so.

Have you explore this territory's?
I believe it works no matter what position we play.

I just made this line for even money bets 1 1 1 2 2 3 and so on and end up with nice winnings.
I assume that should also work with streets or any other selection.
Denial of gamblers fallacy is usually seen in people who has Roulette as last option for a way to wealth, debt covering and a independent lifestyle.  Next step is pretty ugly-
AP - It's not that it can't be done, but rather people don't really have a clue as to the level of fanaticism and outright obsession that it takes to be successful, let alone get to the level where you can take money out of the casinos on a regular basis. Out of 1,000 people that earnestly try, maybe only one will make it.

Chrisbis

I am up for that.

Love constructive Critic
Most of my progressions, are done as "Absolutes".

In that, You are exactly correct, must win at the next level.
...make profit.
I have done some Break Even one's, but get told off by my coder!! LoL

We are always thinking Auto bot here, But I guess we could have break even levels, if It proved the case, that a High Break Even point was only ever reached once in a hundred years!
Which itself, is an Absolute!! LoL

Lets debate.

And I have a question for U.

The one I have just done, can be slowed even further, with some B-Even points inserted.
And the use of 0.05 intervals too. If available on the chosen table.
cheers

Hello - yes i like the idea you mention using break-even point's - but i would like to move one step further and would be more then happy to run the simulation - if we find one solution or option to test.
Now i admit i am not expert regarding street progressions - but could elaborate from a different angel to make my point clear.

I notice that to certain degree so can progression accept certain amount of loses - this is due to strike ratio chop and come in waves.
If there exist a high hit ratio - then does slow progression work like clockwork - that is mine experience.

Now the fibo for even money bets take the last two previous bets into become the third.
It has to be a way to convert same line of thinking regarding other progressions using other selections.
Denial of gamblers fallacy is usually seen in people who has Roulette as last option for a way to wealth, debt covering and a independent lifestyle.  Next step is pretty ugly-

That all depends on how U wish to regard the Accumulating loses.
We could look at deferring them to a new "Deference" bank, and 'knock' them off with new winnings as we go.

The other think to look at, is "Split-Load" Banks.

By that I mean, take a bet, and a progression.
Say its typical Line bet (Double Street)

One Line will cost U 1 Unit to bet on it.

your best outcome is a first time hit, and Level 1, (Or lets call it -Zero)

0=1unit, win= 5:1 payout = 6 return
or
0=1unit, loss=0:1 payout = 0 return

Here the loss is transferred to "Loss Bank", which will not have a count of 1
(not -1 as You might think, because it is a positive loss, and the idea would for the loss bank to be at Ideal value of 0 (Zero))

Our BR will reduce, but the "Loss" bank will increase.

Or Next bet is the same play, but at a pre-chosen value, dependent on all sorts of factors.

Progression,
Stake Value
Positive Progression
Negative progression
Table Limits
Expectancy of a hit
Frequency of the bet.

On a win, the "Loss Bank" is first reduced, before any gain, is sent to the BR.

The "Loss Bank", could also be split into other various divisions, as required by the Win/Loss nature of the bet selection.

Each "Loss Bank" is taken care off in turn.

Just emptying my brain.

After writing that Single Street Progression list above, I just wondered if anyone noticed, that I was able, on a Low Value Table (15.00 Euro Max on Streets at Bet Voyager), whether they thought a Street could "Sleep" for 64 spins?

Give that, I also started, and maintained, the Chart at 0.10 unit base value!

If I start at 0.01 unit base value, how many steps could we achieve?
Hazard a guess anyone? ??

You're 'streets' ahead of the rest when it comes to inside bets and progs. The world is watching! (Well, I am anyways!)  ;)

Hi Chris,

Have you tested the 4 number prog much? If so how's it looking?
What did you think of 'Rays' system by the way?
