The only way to beat roulette is by increasing accuracy of predictions (changing the odds). This is possible on many real wheels.

Another idea.

Talking about even chance bets only.  Let's say Red and Black.

In 1000 spins we should get 500 single colors in a row (RBRBR) and 500   2 or more colors in a row (RRBBBBRRRRBBRRRBB)
In 500 spins we should get 250  2 colors in a row vs 250  3 or more colors in a row.
Etc....

In 36 spins we should get 18 single colors in a row and 18  2 or more colors in a row.  We know it will rarely happen exactly 18 and 18.

What if we tracked 24 spins and determined which was out balance.  Let's say the difference had to be 4.  So 16 singles and 20 multiples means that the singles are lagging and we can expect them to try to catch up in the next 12 spins.  So for the next 12 spins we bet a flat bet of 1 unit for singles.

After the 36 spins, if we are -1 or more, we bet the same unit size for the next series.  If we are less than -1 we increase our unit size by 1 unit to 2 units.  We always flat bet the 12 bets.  If at any time during the 12 bets we get up the difference between the singles vs multiples of the previous 24 spins, we stop betting and take the 4 or whatever bet win.  We finish the 12 spins whether we are betting all of them or not before we re-evaluate.

After the 12 spins we evaluate the last 24 spins for the same thing, singles vs multiples.  We must have 12 old spins and the 12 new spins we were betting on for our evaluation for the next 12 bets.  Anytime we're in the hole more than 1 bet in a 12 spin series, we increase our flat bet amount for the next 12 spins.

If our evaluation isn't more than 2 difference we don't bet that 12 spins series.  (This rule is not absolute.  If you want to be a little more aggressive, you can bet any time there is a ratio other than 18 vs 18.)

A good progression is 1-2-3-4-5-7-9-11-13-15-18-21-25.

When evaluating to determine if you should increase your bet size, you only consider whether you were plus or minus for the last series.  In other words if you are -12 units and your betting 3 unit flat bets and at the end you are -9, that means you won 3 units and even though you are still -9, you don't increase your bet size.  You actually can decrease your bet size to 2 units or stay at 3 units.

You can choose to either play D'Alembert style +1 after a loss and -1 after a win.  Or increase 1 unit after each loss, but never decrease the bet size until you reach a new high bank amount, or whatever you like.

Zeros do count as a loss, but they do not influence the single vs multiple determination.  So if you have RRBR0RB  the R0R is a multiple not 2 singles.

You can use 25 spins to determine the imbalance to include the zero making a cycle of 37 spins instead of 36.

More food for thought,

GLC
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Hi GLC,

I like your idea. It is quiet different but after reading the explanation it seems like that winning is not so hard  ^-^

Amazin

QuoteWhich do you think is safer?  To sit down at a roulette table and for the next 10 hours bet that Red won't hit 7 times in a row.  Or for the next 365 days sit down at a roulette table and bet that 7 Reds won't hit in a row in the next 7 spins.  Play a 7 step martingale; 1-2-4-8-16-32-64.  As soon as you win or lose, take your +1 unit or -127 unit loss and leave.

First one is less risky? At same time, I don't see how it will affect my system since I'm randomly pick a pattern to bet against so I'm not "on track"

Btw, GLC did you block me from Pm you? I tried to PM you earlier and it says you blocked me from messaging you? what have I done? :-\

Apart from that, this system is strong. I've played almost 1000 games and rarely had to go level 2. Progression is still the problem. I think a positive progression will work much better.

GLC

You did nothing Amazin.  I was messing around with my profile info and accidentally blocked everyone from sending me PM's.  I decided to go back to my old avatar.  I'll see if I can fix it ASAP!

GLC

Fixed!  I am again PMable.
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

ah ok, thanks GLC. Here is my experience so far with this system:

I was playing on BV and started out with £10 and playing 5p stakes using the classic martingale progression. My system was working so well and it didn't take me long before I hit £20. Thats where it all went wrong! Basically 5 red came up, I got greedy and threw my system out the window and started to bet on black. It just won't come up! The next thing I know, I only had £7 left!

I got annoyed and was hoping for fast recovery but few more lose bets and my balance was down to £3.54! I thought screw this. Went back to my system again started from 5p bets again. After few days of hard work, my balance was £31!! Was playing on 5p stakes so you do the maths!

Guess what happened? I got greedy again after I saw even number not coming up for 8 times. Started to betting big on odd and it won't come up, again! Then same thing happened, I tried to recover fast but back fired. My balance was so low that it was £0.40p!!!!

Went back to my system again and now my balance is only £5.60. I believe I have a winning system here and I never played hit and run, I didn't even complete the patterns, I would stop if I lose on the third spin and then just pick a different one with level 2 recovery plan.

As you can see my system saved me from my own stupidity again and again. I haven't played roulette in the last few days because I feel that something is not right. I have come to conclusion that I need to use a better progression plan. I have never tried a positive progression plan so I would appreciate it if anyone can recommand me a better progression plan. Martingale progression sucks.

Is Positive progression better than a negative one? Proofreaders2000 recommanded the "Reese's stair" but I don't see how I can make any money and its still a negative progression which can easily wipe out all my winnings. e.g.  1,2,3 so if I win, I make no money?

Someone help me!

Proofreaders2000

Hello Amazin.  I applaud you effort to try to find a Grail

Ok, here is the idea for a positive progression.

On a win, up one unit on the next bet
If lose, less two units on the next bet.
----------------------------------------------------------------
"Reese's Stair" is a softer negative progression that the traditional Martingale.

*Traditional Martingale for even chance: 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1048: If win, back to 1

*Reese's Stair: 1,2,3,2,3,4,3,4,5,4,5,6,5,6,7,6,7,8,7,8,9: Less one unit on a win
& start at that leg of progression:

i.e: 1,2,3(win)--less one unit *which would bring you back to 2 units*-start at 2,3,4

A suggestion for you Amazin.  Do you practice your system before playing for real?

If you want a risk-free real money RNG to practice on, try the Autoplay at Celtic Casino "Irish Live Roulette" (noticed autoplay was active there) or at SmartLive Casino's "Auto Roulette".  You don't place chips, however you can track your system's progress.
