Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

Wally,

I just busted a 1000 unit bank roll testing this on double zero.  As I suspected, there's nothing to the observation that the penultimate group doesn't repeat 83% of the time.

I think your Alligator is a better bet.

In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

I've been having pretty good luck with this playing a bet method based on the GLAT progression.

We are only playing the streets.

Our table is split up like this: Group 1 = streets 1, 2 & 3;  Group 2 = streets 4, 5 & 6;  Group 3 = streets 7, 8 & 9;  Group 4 = streets 10, 11 & 12.

We bet against the penultimate Group.

That means we will be betting on the 9 streets different from the penultimate Group.

Here's our progression:

As long as we're winning, we stay at the same unit amount until we are at a new high bank amount.

As soon as we lose, we enter our decision making process.
If we get  L W W W, we break even so we stay at the same bet size.
If we get  L W W L, we are down 12 units so we increase our bet by 1 unit per street and start tracking a new w/l line.
If we get  L W L, we are down 15 units so we increase our bet by 1 unit per street and start tracking a new w/l line.
If we get  L L, we are down 18 units so we increase our bet by 2 units per street and start tracking a new w/l line.

Buy-in for 250 units and play for a 50 unit win target.
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!
