I don't understand the concept of a crossover. How does he work it out?

You never look at it that way.

A crossing is when descending numbers cross with ascending numbers.

Example:

14         13

0   vs    1

You have fourteen unhit numbers and 13 that have hit once.  The 0s are getting smaller and the 1s are growing.  You bet on the 0s.  A hit would mean a 13 in the 0 column and a 14 in the 1s column.  The graph lines have crossed.

You can also have a

14       14

Here the data points are on the same line.  A win would be

13      15

Why ?
In essence is that not what you are doin ?

Please explain to me what it is if it is not that as I would like to understand. My current understanding is you bet when unhit is about to "crossover" to hit or 2 hits are "crossing" over to 3 hits.
How do you know when to do what ? Other than pure guess and luck ?

I cannot promise you the G.U.T. will work throughout the ages.  I will tell you--if nothing else--it plays very evenly.  A proper progression would make this better but I can't figure one out.  And I would want a bankroll of 1,000 Euro to play with .50 bets.

Perhaps you should take mare's advice and leave this system alone.

I am one who believes in terminology.  Doctor asks for a scalpel; nurse hands him a bed pan.  Things don't go well.

If I or winkle used the word "crossover", I don't recall it.  It's crossing.  You can never tell when it's going to happen.  If you could, you would just bet that spin and have the Grail.  It's gambling, after all.  But there is a logic to it.  winkle called it "stochastic" and I don't understand that word, but there is something to it.  When you see hit after hit as I have, on less than 12 numbers, you begin to feel there is something to it.

There is no such thing as "almost equal".  "hit twice are gonna hit 3 times"  That would be a 2 vs 3.  These are the crossings:

0 vs 1
1 vs >1
1 vs 2
2 vs >2
2 vs 3
3 vs >3

I have played a lot of systems; bought a few.  Nothing comes close to the G.U.T. in performance.  When played correctly, it is possible to win.  While I do not believe in H&R, there is a time to get out and a time to stay.  One must develop this knowledge for himself.  This is true of all systems.  Nathan Detroit said as much today on the pilot's post.

Sorry if I came off brash.  I love to teach the G.U.T., mainly out of respect for winkle.  But I will not use incorrect terminology as it will soon morph into something else and then something else and then nobody knows what anybody is saying and everybody is confused.  Somebody has to draw the line and that's the teacher.

I truly don't appreciate snide remarks like those from mare.  I'm not selling anything; I'm just saying this is a method you might want to look at.  If you don't that's your decision and I am happy with it if you are.

I have never and would never make any snide comment to you about this. I genuinely wanted to and still do understand how it works

From my inexperienced pov it looks like you play Unhit when its about to have a crossing with Hit and I sought clarification as to how you know how and when

I fully accept there are Systems I will never understand. There are Systems here that I really wish I did understand but Im not able to due to my own limitations

Hopefully, time permitting, you will be able to do another session and record it for us so we can watch it in action.
I really do enjoy ure vids and I always watch them in the hope I will understand

I would love to make another video, but not at this time.  My wife is recuperating from surgery and I must be able to go to her as necessary.  That is why I'm cold-number testing The FLATman's 9 vs 9 system.  (Sounds like a crossing!)

I know I don't post alot on the forum but I have to compliment your 2 videos of GUT which I did watch all the way through


Excellent straight forward teaching and you really do entertain with your comments about the Zero repeats lol


I think it might be a good idea to incorporate MrJ's catch the 8 train whilst playing this as it would help you hit those repeaters which often cause losses


Only a suggestion, looking forward to your next Video and hope your Wife is recovering well
