Morning all.
Is anyone familiar with this "Magic Five" material I found on the internet last night?
Its a long explanation of a Flat bet EC method that covers forecasting of future events based on a
grading system, and as to whether the next spin is changing colour or repeating.

Just wondered if its been used in real games at all by anyone?
cheers

I have it in my files.  You are right, it assigns a   or - in such a way that when you have a 5 you begin betting.  Basically, it's this:  If you're having a run, bet for flops.  If you're having flops, bet for a run.  Always flat bet.

This is based on "regression toward the mean" and the problem is this:  You are supposed to wait until the run is at  +5 and then bet for flops.  But the run could go to  8!  Or higher.  There is just no way to know except bet and see.

I've found it by myself with google search, just wanted to say links behave "strange" when posted here....

Chris,

I posted a method on this forum that was based on this idea and we did a little messing around with it.  I'll see if I can locate it.

In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

It is 36 pages.  I haven't read one word yet, just wanted to post for consideration.
