Thanks, but that doesn't make much sense to me... still, what makes sense is how many numbers is bet,.... according to Mr.J no more than 4 numbers should be bet. I'm too lazy for betting 4 numbers or less, i rather bet 5-15 numbers...but then, im still trying to understand Mr.J's philosophy and his flatbetting methods

Iggiv...wise words

and....this way you describe....if you get no luck at all....you dont fair so bad...and you still have the shirt on your back

iggiv

i think you can win or lose with different numbers of bets. Be it 5 or 35. You gotta work out what better works for you. consider also betting different numbers of bets. More variable your patterns of betting are -- more likely you  win. And when you look at your betting --summary, you gotta cover all the wheel with your bets. If u bet some numbers more than the other consistently, roulette will start "working against u", you will see it.

iggiv

also change your patterns. Include other numbers into your patterns. For example if you always bet only hot numbers...after a while u will see cold numbers waking up frequently. Roulette behaves as if it feels your weak spots.

Doing things correctly can be boring Ignatus. Thats why it makes no sense to you.

This 30 metre wall is too big to climb. I will try and smash it down with a hammer. That didnt work...Ill get a bigger hammer. That didnt work either.

"Try the stairs 1km metres away, it takes you to the top of the wall"

....naww...too much trouble....pass me that hammer again.

I agree now, reading your post again iggiv: Greed is the greatest enemy. A wingoal and stoploss must be used.

For the more experienced players it can be established exactly how many numbers works flatbetting. This im very curious to find out, really. im thinking 4-5 numbers? i've flatbetted 15 numbers with success. Still im confused about this, seems to be a "great secret" but it should not be? By statistics one can find out? Nobody will let you know, so why not try to focus our attention on this issue so we might get anywhere?

About patterns this gave me several new ideas

There are more wise words in this thread than all the others combined!  :)

It pays to listen to the guys that have been in the trenches.

People like Mr J, Iggiv, Bombus and myself have spent a lifetime between us breaking the game apart and putting it back together again. Speaking for myself, I am 100% certain that there is no HG. It all comes down to how the player reacts to what's happening in front of him.

Here would be my tips.

Forget negative progressions.

Concentrate on between 1-3 numbers.

Keep games short. You need to be evaluating ALL the time.

Nothing wrong with gradually increasing your stakes during a purple patch. The opposite is true in a bad patch.

NEVER take your credit cards or excess money to the casino with you!  :-X

That's about it!

I think becoming a perfect loser takes as much hard work throughout the years as does becoming a consistent winner. What I am saying is that we do actually have a choice.

cheers

I cannot play with less than 9 numbers that's it. The wheel is 37 numbers. How in hell can you predict that the ball will land on 1-3 numbers? Pure nonsense, and yet the "professional players" go with 1-3 numbers. Doesn't make any sense at all. I can't figure that

You know something else? Why do live casinos have a short time limit for each bet?

So you can't place so many numbers............go figure

Ignatus,

Many players will agree with you about the 9-15 number range, or thereabouts.

My preferred inside number systems involve betting around 9 numbers, or involve starting with less numbers and building to about 15-16 numbers.

Single streets (3 numbers) are good but need hefty progressions, which can break your heart.

16 numbers is solid and benefits from being able to use splits, which lessens bet placement time.

My advice is if you are committed to betting inside then study the 9-16 number range thoroughly as you will learn a lot.

If you start getting up to 15-16 numbers then you might as well go the extra few numbers and study the EC's. You won’t find a quicker way to bet on 18 numbers and the odds are all the same anyway.

The EC’s are the casket that houses the Holy Grail.

Thanks Skakus. Yes, i agree with you

Crazy idea I'd like to submit.

How about a few of us guys pool our gambling funds together until we have say $1000 (I don't know the bankroll situation) and agree on a system that is solid and use TeamViewer--or send a trustworthy guy (ex. Iggiv) to Dublinbet and he plays the system the group agreed upon--and share in the wins/losses.

(If office pools can work for the lottery guys why not here?)
