Hi Proof,

I also noticed if we just back the DOZENS that the number and the 2 neighbours fall in (except where 3 doz are indicated in which case a no bet) you get this:
Coincidence

Hi RouletteMaster,
Yes I agree. As I soon found out - T'was just coincidence!  :)  :)

Hi Turner and Warrior,

This was my idea which I set out below:

An EC + column variant for single 0 and based on the arrangement of the Roulette colours on the table.

When you look at the table layout you will notice that:
The 1st Column has an equal number of Red and Black numbers, but the 2nd Column has 4 Red and 8 Black, while the 3rd Column has 4 Black and 8 Red numbers.

This is the basis of this level stake flat betting system.

Patience and tolerance are necessary.

What to bet
=======
There are 2 bets involved.

The first bet is 1unit on RED or BLACK even chance

The second bet is 1unit on the 2nd or 3rd COLUMN. (2/1 chance)

When you bet Red then you must also bet an equal amount on the 2nd Column.

When you bet Black then you must also bet an equal amount on the 3rd Column.

Note:
Whether you bet Red and the 2nd Column or Black and the 3rd Column, you are covering 18 plus 8 for a total of 26 numbers out of 37 at the cost of only two units. That's covering 18 of a colour plus 8 of the other color and doubling up the coverage on 4.
When only the correct colour comes up, the bet returns even money so you get the spin for free. When only the column hits you make one unit profit. When the colour and the column both hit then you make three units profit.

When to bet
=======
Selections are decided by the DOMINATING COLOUR out of the LAST THREE results.

The ZERO is ignored. Only use the results before the 0.

If red is the predominating colour then the bet to be made is 1u on RED + 1u on 2nd COLUMN.

If black is the predominating colour then the bet to be made is 1u on BLACK + 1u on 3rd COLUMN.

Simples. (Tsch!)

Target Aim
======
You can end a playing session ANY TIME. I suggest a modest profit target balance of +3 or more  -  which means of course, you have WON!

[/reveal]

This approach should keep you nicely in the game for some time; hopefully long enough to make a small profit. The risks are not too high especially if you elect to play as I do with small stakes...

I thought about a mild progression on both bets using maybe CYCLIC increases on deficit, maybe some members have got a good idea on this that would be useful? For now though I am being cautious and sticking with flatbetting only...

Ok. There's nothing really new here, I just added the colour dominator thing, but it's nice the drawdowns were not a very significant problem at all. Food for thought?

Also please bear in mind that the unwelcome ZERO "stole away" 8 plus points from the 3rd game target balance too!!
So a No-Zero table is an option warranting serious consideration to guard against the thieving green goblin which has and will occur. It certainly made its mark in this session.  :(
Maybe someone could try BVnz on that?

Best regards,
Atlantis.

Hi Turner and Warrior,

This was my idea which I set out below:

Just as promised....thanks.

You are clearly in the share camp.

BTW....i spent a week or so playing with the fact of the red/black dominance in Col B and C and didnt come up with this lol

came up with plenty of other things that didnt work

Turner

I would play like this.

Aim is 15 Euro from 3 tables

This is real play Dublinbet 5 Euro

table 1 B + Col C  WIN 15 Euro....get out

table 2 B + Col C WIN 5 Euro....get out

table 3 R + Col B push, R + col B WIN 5 Euro

35 Euro. That's the day done for me.

Aim is 15 Euro from 3 tables ....so 35 will do nicely. If I struggle tomorrow I will play for 10 Euro because of tonight's win

120 Euros BR, 30 Euro stop loss,

Atlantis, thanks for sharing wil give it a try.

Here's a tentative suggestion, fellas.  Tentative, because it's just another bet method, not necessarily a better one.  But, I like it.

If both locations lose, we lose 3 units, so increase our bets by +1 on both locations.

If the even chance wins and the column loses, we are even, so keep bets the same.

If the column wins and the e.c. loses, we win +1 unit.  Let's keep our bets the same here also.

If the e.c. and the column wins, we win +3 units, so decrease our bets by -1.

Anytime we get to our previous high bank or higher, we reset to 1 on both locations.

This is still a losing bet in the long run because of the following:

We have 14 numbers that are Red but not in the 2nd column which results in neither a win nor a loss.

We have 4 numbers that are Red and in the 2nd column which results in a total of +12 units overall.

We have 8 numbers that are not Red but in the 2nd column which results in a total of +8 units overall.

We have 10 numbers that are Black but not in the 2nd column which results in a total of -20 units overall.

We have a zero that results in a total of -2 units overall.

So, if each number from 0 thru 36 hits exactly 1 time in sequence we would break even on 14 of them.

We would win +12 units on 4 of them and +8 units on 8 of them for +20 units.

We would lose -22 units on 11 of them.  (Don't forget the zero is a -2 loss)

This gives the house a 2 unit advantage in 37 spins.

Don't be discouraged.  All systems, when analyzed this way, give the house a 2 unit advantage in 37 spins unless you're playing a non-zero wheel.  If you're playing a double zero wheel the house would have a 4 unit advantage in 38 spins.

This is why we must find a way to win more on our wins than we lose on our losses.  Because we will be losing more bets than we win.

This is a fact my friends.

It's why we're all in this forum.

To discover how to win more units on our wins than we lose on our losses!!
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Thanks George for pointing out the realities and the facts of the matter.

Now I have tried a few different progressions but I think the best progression to be used - if you need to use one that is - is exactly the way you have set forth in your post: +1/-1 on a loss/win on both bets.

I tried using triggers before betting also, but that seems to make no appreciable difference or especial advantage.

An idea may be to flatbet at 1u for say, 20 spins then if in negative play the next set of 10 or 20 spins at 2u...

Or maybe over a fixed amount of level stake 'sets' of spins there can be consistently overall more profits than losses??

The 'nozero' is rng and not real roulette but would deal with the pesky 0 factor which is a pain when its hitting often.

A,
I don't mean to act like a math guy, just wanted to point out what we were up against.

I, as you know, am a proponent of the concept used in Full TrioPlay/Tera TNT where they use a Pluscoup type bet progression.  The safety brake idea they use is to chase their losses with their wins.  Once they catch their losses with wins, they will be in plus territory.  If they don't get out of Basic Play, they will be plus before their number of wins reaches their number of losses.  If they don't get ahead early in the game, they take aggressive measures to bring their bet size equal to their number of losses.  They do this by jumping numbers in their bet size increases so as to reach their number of losses sooner.  This can mean that they may, and often do, find themselves still minus when it's time to reset.  But this helps prevent a catastrophic plunge into the hole.  I say, "helps" because there are no guarantees that any safety measures will always prevent a major loss, thus the need for a stop-loss.

By using this bet selection method and bet progression to represent a single bet following the TrioPlay model, I am able to win consistently, so far.  I say, so far, because we all know things can take a really bad turn at any time.

That this helps may be a misperception on my part, but only time will tell.

I was messing with a simulator today, and I found the holy grail for NZ roulette, but I kept modifying the system, trying different things, until I lost the original winner.  >:(
I attached a graph how it looked like. It even passed the 10k and 50k spin test with some minor swings and without ever going in the red.
