Best way to play Oscar's Grind?

I'm sure it's been asked lots and lots of times on here but I'll ask again anyway.  What's the best way to play Oscar's Grind?  What tweaks have been added over the years, any safety breaks etc...

It is a failure in all the ways you play it but still safer than playing martingale.

I've accepted that all methods are failures. I'm just trying to find one that will double bankroll many many times before it fails.
