I've even already thought that the sleepers after a run of 37 are a dozen which has slept 37...which must have the momentum (in -SD terms) to hit soon. A stored energy like a coiled spring....if you will.

Yes, but unfortunately for us we can't have same amount of "stored energy" in some artificial dozen as in carpet dozen for the same amount of missing spins. That is what some people might miss.. Although it looks as a really fair bargain, right? :)

True is that the probability of some 12 numbers sleeping that long is much higher, because there are much more ways you can choose 12 numbers from 37, then for normal or carpet dozens for example.

So if someone wants to make anything "artificial" from the game in order to make more triggers for something that sleeps for what it seems enough, he might be in fallacy. Probabilities are not the same.

Yes Drazen,

Sam brought up something similar a year or so back.

Been mulling it over because say your betting on dozen 1, those numbers are all pre-determined and known.

If you are projecting 12 numbers that have not yet 'come to be' yet, perhaps you are right in saying the
probability is different.

Int'restin stuff

I never stop thinking about this artificial number set idea.

Typical idea I will mess with is below.

Based on the premise that if we have 6 unique last numbers, then bet them and 6 other random choices. There are 1.8 billion unique 12's in 37

You may of picked the right 12 group.

its just for fun.

maestro

very very interesting...ok here is idea Drazen, you are used to tracker Bayes made and tracks deviations on even chances say we look at two in a row and got to -3.00 and above std at this point you lock that bet and bet every number that comes for sure you got high chances of repeating as you know that at some point you get two hits in a row counter gets to zero and then you got good chances for regression...so you might get 2 to 3 repeaters in 11-12 spins
Law of the sixth...<when you play roulette there will always be a moron tells you that you will lose to the house edge>

Well unfortunately for us we can't "escape" from math and probabilities in this game anyhow.

We can do this and that, but is just another way of assorting the probabilities.

If we thought we outsmarted the math like in the example from the first post, it is just because we are ignorant how to calculate proability correct for that scenario.

That is what I wanted to pin point.

Anyhow with the right MM you have good chances not to be killed in this war, which you can't win in the end to say so.

So if you survive in all battles, although the war is lost, can you say for yourself that you have won in the war...

Drazen.....Im only messing with thought experiments just to keep it intersting for me.

Drazen

I think, what you or anyone can say is I lost the main war but i won more small battles and managed to survive.

MAIN WAR = Can't beat roulette.

SMALL BATTLES = Winning sessions.
With right tools and good money management, any gambling activity can produce a steady income.
